Usually when we think of people putting safety pins near their body, we get squeamish and delete that BME Zine site off of our bookmarks. But artist Lucy McRae doesn’t actually stick herself with these shiny gold and silver needles, she uses glue. So the total effect is “WTF!” followed quickly by “Oh, that’s kind of pretty.” See more pics here.
