Eric Leist is a genius: He’s made all of us suddenly eager to try out Facebook Timeline, all by using Don Draper’s slick advertising techniques.
He found this Mad Men footage from the season 1 finale, where Don (Jon Hamm) pitches his Kodak clients on their own slide projector. Eric expertly kept Don’s family photos, which he uses to pull the executives’ heartstrings, and inserted them into the new layout, about which we know a little thanks to Mark Zuckerberg.
That Kodak guy wasn’t the only one welling up. If you’ll excuse us, we’re off to go tinker with Timeline now…

Actually, that wasn’t a Kodak guy who welled up. It was Harry Crane, head of television at Sterling Cooper (and later Sterling Cooper Draper Price). Sorry for being a troll, I’m just picky about my Mad Men.
