The Brief History of ‘Real World’ and ‘Road Rules’ Marriages

Irene was a cast member on The Real World: Los Angeles (front row, far right). A deputy marshal for the city of L.A., she married her fiance Tim (also a marshal) on the show.

Judd had a huge crush on Pam from the first day they were housemates on The Real World: San Francisco, but she had a boyfriend back home. True love won out, though, and the two ended up getting married. They have one child and still live in San Francisco, where Pam is a doctor specializing in AIDS research (a field inspired by their friend and former castmate Pedro Zamora).

She was on The Real World: San Francisco. He was on the Boston season. They met on a Challenge. Now they're married and the parents of six. Last year, Sean was elected to the House of Representatives from Wisconsin.

Danny and Melinda connected immediately when they appeared on The Real World: Austin. Their relationship deepened when Danny's mom died suddenly and Melinda helped him cope. They got married, although they have reportedly divorced since then.

After being on separate seasons of Road Rules: Down Under (Chadwick) and Latin America (Holly), this couple made it official and competed on the Challenge as a married couple. They reportedly vetoed a chance to have MTV film their wedding. On "Battle of the Seasons," they were criticized for siding with each other over their respective teammates, and they had a huge fight with cast member Belou over how she treated her baby (who she'd brought along on the show). Several cast members nicknamed them "The Wicks."

Brad was a cast member on The Real World: San Diego, while Tori got her MTV start on the Road Rules reboot, Viewer's Revenge. After doing a Challenge together, the pair got engaged, and they won the Cutthroat challenge after getting married. They are expecting their first child this summer.

There have been some RR/RW engagements that didn't work out. Road Rules vets Timmy and Susie were engaged, but they split up and Susie has since married someone else. Wes and Johanna (pictured) met during The Real World: Austin, but despite Wes going on the Challenge so he could win money to start off their marriage, they broke up before getting to the altar. There have also been rumors that Abram Boise and Coral Smith were briefly engaged, but it was never confirmed on camera.
