Make Your Own: DIY Costume

So yesterday we put the fear of god into you by claiming that there is a chance that every time you walk into a store, you are exposing yourself to the menace of bedbugs. So how are you going to make your Halloween outfit? We decided to go shopping in our own closest to help you find the perfect spooky outfit.

1. Crazy cat lady/A hipster

You know those oversized cardigans, weird-colored leggings, and doc martins you haven’t worn since college but can’t bear to throw away? Throw all those pieces together, get some chunky glasses, and voila: You look like a reject from What Not to Wear. Or Thelma from Scooby Doo. Or a hipster! The possibilities are endless.

2. Project Runway Model

This one is fun! Take non-fabric items from around the house, staple them together, and then strut around your neighborhood looking vaguely ashamed that you are wearing trash bags with a terrible hemline. If someone asks what you are, tell them that your designer didn’t “Make It Work.”

3. Slutty Ghost

Take a sheet (preferably not a good one), poke eye holes in it, add bra on top. What? Ghosts are ethereal beings, you can’t see their boobs.
