Make Your Own: Fall Emergency Pack

With the weather getting all nutzo and a little bit colder (but then sometimes, unexpectedly, really warm??), we all need to know what to have in our little black bag during the autumn months, in case of emergencies. Luckily, we’re here with 5 items you’ll need for emergency weather.

1. DeFrizzer: Somedays it’s freezing and beautiful out, some days it’s absolutely disgusting: humid, rainy, and totally warm. In case you have a Jew-fro like mine, please remember to carry around some defrizzer for situations where your straight iron stops working the moment you leave your house. 2. Leggings: In the opposite corner, you can never tell when it’s going to suddenly get too cold to wear that little skirt you’ve been rocking all summer. 3. Umbrella: Natch, cuz you never know when it might rain. But like sunglasses, umbrellas have a tendency to disappear as soon as you get them. 4. Socks: We can’t tell you that you should have worn your galloshes today, because its too late now, and your feet are soaked. And if it’s suddenly cold enough that you’re thinking about killing your fellow soccer team plane crash survivors for food? Well, at least your toes won’t fall off if you remember to keep an extra pair of heavy-duty socks on you at all times. We suggest: Hanes Ankle Socks, $11

5. Plastic totes: You have a really nice purse that you brought to the party, and suddenly it’s a downpour!
