The Good Wife, 1.13 Bad’
Air Date: February 2, 2010
Preview Video

After what’s felt like an eternity, The Good Wife finally comes back to CBS with a new episode tonight. In the meantime, I’m sad to report that Matt Czuchry (Logan on Gilmore Girls) did not win a SAG award along with the rest of the cast, but lead Julianna Marguiles did score one for her portrayal of Alicia. Does that make sense?

Anyway, on with the show! On tonight’s episode,… More »

April Nardini Mentioned As A "TV Kid Misstep" On EW.Com

You know sometimes when a T.V. show is struggling, they introduce a kid or baby into the mix to add a new story line? Most of the time it’s contrived and silly and the viewers don’t buy it.

EW.com posted a list of this week of the “Top 10 TV Kid Missteps”and included our very own April Nardini, Luke’s long-lost daughter, played by Vanessa Marano. The character of April made little sense considering what we already knew about Luke… More »

Another Clip Of Alexis Bledel’s Film, “The Good Guy”

Another Clip Of Alexis Bledel's Film, "The Good Guy"

MTV has posted a new clip from Alexis Bledel’s (Rory on Gilmore Girls) soon to be released film, The Good Guy. I posted the trailer several weeks ago, and the buzz on the film has been growing ever since, which is excellent news. After the flop that was Post-Grad, Alexis needs a hit!

In the movie, Alexis plays “Beth,” a young woman torn between slick Wall Street guy Tommy and nice guy Tommy. In the following scene, Tommy comes over to… More »

Matt Czuchry Calls Logan Huntzberger "Lost And Young"

In this great interview with Starpulse, Matt Czuchry (Logan on Gilmore Girls) reveals he would “read anything” Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino offered him and that he hasn’t been officially signed to a contract for a second season of his current television show, The Good Wife. Here are some highlights:

On the differences between The Good Wife’s Cary and Gilmore Girls’ Logan:

“I think the main difference was Logan was pretty lost and young, and he didn’t really have any idea of… More »

Kelly Bishop Starring In “It’s Not You”

Kelly Bishop Starring In "It's Not You"

While checking out Kelly Bishop’s (Emily on Gilmore Girls) IMDB page, I noticed that she has a new film role! Kelly has a role as “Lily Sparks” in a romantic comedy, It’s Not You, that finished wrapping last year. Her co-stars include Shannon Elizabeth, Steve Guttenberg, and Jay Sanders. Judging from the synopsis and the character names, it looks like Kelly will be playing a mother or relative to the character of “Jenny Sparks.”

So far, the only press I… More »

This is neat, Jessica Kiper, who played Jess’s girlfriend Shane on Gilmore Girls, is one of the Survivor alum returning to the reality show for its 20th season, Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains.

Rather than have an all-star show for Survivor’s 10th year, reality blurred reported host Jeff Probst explained he wanted this cycle to have a theme of contestants known for being good guys versus contestants “known for their deception.” Jessica will be on the “Heroes” team. Alexis Bledel Rumored To Be In "Sleepaway Camp Reunion" and "The Letters"

A commenter tipped us off to a new entry on Alexis Bledel’s IMDB page! She’s rumored to be in the sequel to horror and cult classic Sleepaway Camp. This would be a huge departure for Alexis, who up to now has only been in romantic comedies (except for her turn in Sin City). Sleepaway Camp is the franchise of director and writer Robert Hiltzik. The original was released in 1983, and is quite simply, about teens getting killed at a… More »

First things first, congratulations to Julianna Marguiles for winning a well-deserved Golden Globe award last night for her portrayal of Alicia on The Good Wife!

This week’s episode centered on Alicia and her husband, with his life getting more attention. Alicia has given him information that could help his case, or hurt it? And Kalinda is a hot commodity by both Florrick and the guy who took his job. I’m loving her… More »

Lauren Graham's Red Carpet Look From The 67th Annual Golden Globes

Lauren Graham (Lorelai on Gilmore Girls) looked uber girly in her hot pink Monique Lhuillier gown while smiling on the red carpet of the 67th annual Golden Globes. I think she looks great, but I’ve already seen a few rumblings from people on message boards who weren’t fans of the look. What do you think?

If you missed the awards ceremony, Lauren’s stint as a presenter has already made YouTube! Lauren presented the award for ‘Best Supporting Actor in a… More »

Milo Ventimiglia Releases “Ultradome” Trailer

Milo Ventimiglia Releases "Ultradome" Trailer

Huge nerd and hearthrob Milo Ventimiglia (Jess on Gilmore Girls) recently sold his “Ultradome” series to MSN’s Parallel Universe website. He just tweeted the link for the trailer and it seems like cheesy, campy fun. The concept behind the series is watching some of your favorite film and movie characters fight in an “Ultradome” (get it?).

Milo can be seen in the trailer at the :03 mark. It can’t be embedded, so click on through to Parallel Universe to have a… More »

Over the weekend, the Television Critics Association held their bi-annual press tour with all the major networks. This week’s episode of TGW was my favorite of the series thus far, for so many reasons. First, there were two cases at play, with one cleverly intersecting with Alicia. Second, I was drawn to all the intrigue! To the possible kidnapping story as well as the tv host with the big mouth and his accusations / gossip. Third: I felt like we made progress with understanding Alicia’s motivations.

My thoughts:

- Cary is… More »

Jared Paladecki Engaged To Genevieve Cortese

Jared Paladecki Engaged To Genevieve Cortese

Bust out the tissues, girls. E!Online reported yesterday that Jared Paladecki (Dean on Gilmore Girls) has popped the question to actress Genevive Cortese and she said yes.

Supernatural fans will remember Genevieve as the second actress to play the demon Ruby in the fourth season of the series (she’s pictured right with Jared in a still from the show), replacing actress Katie Cassidy. Ruby was killed at the end of the fourth season when her true motives were revealed, but clearly… More »

“Jennifer’s Body” DVD Review

"Jennifer's Body" DVD Review

Gilmore Girls’ Adam Brody (Dave Rygalski) starred in the 2009 horror flick Jennifer’s Body, which came out on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 29th, 2009. I watched an unusual number of horror flicks in 2009 with this being among my favorites. Sure, some of the graphics were silly for the horror bits, but the acting was decent and so was the storyline. I’m sure we have writer Diablo Cody to thank for that. They call this film a “black comedy”,… More »

“Are you kidding me? That question often sprang to mind during this feeble comic misfire starring Alexis Bledel as a perky college grad who returns home to her eccentric family when her… More »
