Adam Lambert Gets Arrested In Finland For Fighting With His Boyfriend

Just a few days after arriving in Finland for Christmas, former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert got arrested for fighting in a bar. His assailant was not some homophobe as you might think, but rather Adam’s boyfriend Sauli Koskinen, the winner of Big Brother Finland 2007.

According to the Finnish tabloid Ilta-Sanomat (via ONTD), the police haven’t yet determined why the reality-TV couple was fighting outside of a gay bar in Helsinki; they’ll be questioned today. But it sounds as if they were extremely drunk, since it was a heated fight involving some sort of violence. That said, the police told the tabloid that neither Adam nor Sauli was horribly injured.

Rumored details of the fight have been popping up online in the last few hours. Simply Showbiz claims that onlookers tried to stop the fight, but Adam kicked them. Crazy Days and Nights thinks it was some sort of publicity stunt, the way Sauli told it. The Real Steve Gray says that the actual fight was between Sauli and the girlfriend of one of his Big Brother castmates, and that Adam entered the fight trying to help Sauli.

Like we said, the truth will come out when police interrogate the sobered-up couple.

Not being famous, perhaps I wouldn’t know this, but to my way of thinking, the absolute worst thing about being famous has got to be dealing with the paparazzi. Sure, when you live a public life, photographers are always going to be an issue, but I still feel bad for actors, musicians, artists, etc. who get hounded all the time for no other reason than that they happen to make a living in the entertainment industry. But celebs aren’t always victims; occasionally, they fight back! Sometimes the attacks more warranted than others, but either way, they make for interesting tabloid fodder. Actually, here’s a question for you: If a celeb is busy attacking a photographer snapping pictures of the celebrity’s everyday life, what does that make the photographer who’s snapping pictures of the incident? Food for thought…

Adam Lambert Calls Out Teen Mom’s Obvious Trashiness, Loses Twitter Followers

American Idoler Adam Lambert is stirring up controversy once again: Fans have been disowning him after he attacked MTV’s reality drama Teen Mom for being trashy and harmful to kids. Perhaps Adam criticized the show because it’s exploitative trash that encourages teen motherhood. Although perhaps there’s another reason he’s upset –we have a theory as to why Adam has been dissing the show, and it’s that he’s mad that he and troubled star Amber Portwood have the same face. (Seriously, just look at how much those two have the same face.)

The controversy began last week when Adam tweeted about the show, writing:

“This Teen Mom show on MTV is so depressing. I know it’s ‘real life’ but shouldn’t there be programming that inspires kids to shoot higher? #glorifyingwhitetrash”

This led to an immediate backlash, with fans tweeting back their disapproval of Adam’s comments. Which led Adam to explain himself:

“I’m not saying that all teen moms are white trash. Don’t misunderstand. Yet, most of the ones on that show seem to be. I do, however, think they’re are being exploited a bit.”

The next day, Adam noticed that his follower count had decreased. His comment on the matter?

“Woah I lost some followers yesterday cuz I had a valid opinion about a tv show. Hahah. #sensitivesallies.”

Anyway, the point of all this is: Same. Exact. Face. Exactly.

Crushable Quotable: Pete Wentz Says He’s The Homeless Man’s Adam Lambert

We haven’t heard from former Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz for awhile. But this week he took a break from being a dad and husband to talk about his propensity for guyliner in a Double Take video.

In the video, Pete interviews himself, and identifies himself as “a homeless man’s Adam Lambert.”

And weirdly, we think that’s sort of apt.

True Hollywood Story on E! is the best. Mostly because of the weird stuff they get celebrities to divulge about themselves. And American Idol singer Adam Lambert is no different. Apparently, he went a little crazy when he worked on cruise ships and performing in musical theater groups in Europe.

But he was also a late bloomer, and tells E! that when he first had sex, he wasn’t very good at it:

“I lost my virginity at 21 years old.and it was to a man, not a woman. Uh, and it wasn’t very good. Sometimes it takes a little while to learn how to do that correctly.”
