NY Times Reports on McCarren; Yo La Tengo Playing Last Free Show
The New York Times has an article about the future of McCarren Park Pool…and how it seems like it will be turned back into a pool. Supposedly constructions starts this fall and they hope to open it for summer 2011. So, get your kicks in now. Another free show was announce for August 10 at McCarren Park Pool. The Felice Brothers, Langhorne Slim, Eli “Paperboy” Reed, The True Loves, Deer Tick, and DJ Kool Kear will all be there. Here’s the rest of the free pool parties this summer:
