J&R MusicFest 2009 Starts Thursday
Longtime record retailer J&R Music is hosting J&R MusicFest this year on August 27-29. There will be three days of in-store and outdoor performances at their store at 23 Park Row and at City Hall Park. Highlights include The Smithereens, Clipse, and KRS-One and Buckshot. Here is the schedule so far:

Tickets on Sale
Remember all those shows that were on AmEx presale a few days ago? Well now they are on regular sale, plus a bunch of others:
Black Kids and Mates of State at Music Hall of Williamsburg on April 5 and Webster Hall on April 6 is on Tickets
Cursive at Bowery Ballroom on March 10 is on Tickets, their March 9 show at Music Hall of Williamsburg is also still on sale
