Anne Hathaway has two choices for how she responds to the paparazzi snapping pics of her on the Dark Knight Rises set:
1) Rolling her eyes and pursing her lips and being a prissy bitch.
Please, Anne, always resort to imitating Lil Wayne from here forth. More »
This poor MTV News guy: When he asked if Anne Hathaway was at least happy that fans were picking apart her lackluster Catwoman costume, she called him out because another MTV News writer had described the costume as “meh.” (So did we.) The reporter had no choice but to smile and push through while Anne did her routine of overexaggerated eye rolling and lip pursing, like the issue was just so inconvenient. More »
Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway‘s new flick One Day held its premiere last night in New York City. The film chronicles a pair of friends/sometimes romance-partners throughout their intersecting lives, revealing a single day from each year. In this photo, Jim’s smile seems to perfectly capture the charming sentiment of the flick. More »

It’s long been rumored that Queen Latifah is a lesbian, and the actress finally de facto came out in an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine. This is just the week of superhero costume reveals! Over the last two days we’ve seen Henry Cavill as Clark Kent and Superman, and before that was Tom Hardy as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Today’s photo is of Hardy’s co-star Anne Hathaway, who’s playing Selina Kyle, a.k.a. Catwoman. And while the producers said that her costume would look more like the original comics than the Halle Berry leather monstrosity… we’re still not seeing it. More »
Don’t get me wrong — having read the book, I’m excited for One Day, though Anne Hathaway‘s British accent is horrendous. But then came this Sundance winner Like Crazy, which stars Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones as college seniors who fall in love instantly but can’t be together because of post-grad plans and responsibilities. Unlike Hathaway and Jim Sturgess‘ characters, who can’t admit how powerful their connection is, Jacob and Anna try with all their might to make their relationship work despite the physical distance and desire to date other people. And the Ingrid Michaelson cover of “Fools Rush In” just does you in. More »
Okay, level with us, universe. Fashion Week is every week, right? It’s happening again in both Berlin and Paris. And, as usual, celebs are totally showing up in utterly outrageous ensembles. So let’s take a look and have our morning chuckle, shall we? More »

Christopher Nolan‘s Batman movies are rebooting everything about the franchise, including the Catwoman look. Hollywood Life reports that Anne Hathaway‘s costume for The Dark Knight Rises will draw its inspiration from the original comic book that introduced Batman’s sexy foe — down to night-vision goggles. To be fair, wardrobe malfunctions happen to all of us. They’re just funnier when they happen to celebrities. So what are we going to do about that? Laugh, of course. Heartily. You’ll notice that Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears are absent here; this is largely because I’m pretty convinced their numerous wardrobe malfunctions are intentional and therefore not funny. What you WILL find here, though, are 15 cases of celebrities unexpectedly doing valiant battle with their clothing. Sometimes they win; sometimes they lose; but either way, everyone can have a good laugh about it the next day. Carry on!

Talking about preparing for The Hunger Games, Leven Rambin (she’ll play District 1 tribute Glimmer) said that she would be working a lot with stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, and that she thought that the 24 tributes would end up spending a lot of time together: “We’re all in LA training, preparing, and getting our lives in order. I think we’ll all gather and do some bonding.”
But this isn’t a movie about making friends, it’s about hunting other kids to stay alive. With the exception of one’s fellow district mate, each tribute knows nothing about his/her opponents — and prefers to keep it that way so it’ll be easier to kill them. I’m willing to bet that Lionsgate will discourage bonding among the 24 young actors who will face off in the Arena, even forcibly separating them during the shoot. More »
Maybe we’re just feeling kind of emotional today, but this One Day trailer totally choked us up. It’s from the director of the awesome An Education (who should maybe hire a more creative movie title come-up-with-er), so we expect good things. Plus, we’re totally buying Anne Hathaway‘s accent. Ah, the phenomenon of celebrities on Broadway: Sometimes it’s a rip-roaring success, and sometimes it’s, well… not. Kathleen Turner, for instance, is finding herself in a bit of a jam as her new play High prepares to bring down its curtain after only a a week’s worth of performances. However, Turner has had success on Broadway in the past, as evinced by the 2004 revival of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Turner isn’t the only celebrity to have taken a turn on Broadway; American Idol contestants aside, there are plenty of famous people who have tried their hand at the art of the theatre, to varying degrees of success. Here are 17 celebs who took the Broadway stage: More »
We’ve heard of trailers showing all the good parts of a movie, but for a poster to spoil the climax of a film is ridiculous!
While at the movie theater recently, I walked past the official poster for the upcoming adaptation of One Day, David Nicholls’ lovely book about the uneven and evolving friendship between university alums Dex (Jim Sturgess) and Emma (Anne Hathaway). Each chapter checks in on their lives on the same day each year—sometimes together, but often apart and struggling with issues of growing up. More »
Big Love star Chloe Sevigny is preparing to play axe murderer Lizzie Borden for an HBO miniseries — which is a great choice, considering her capacity for portraying deadly, emotionless women. Although screenwriter Bryce Kass is only halfway through the script, Sevigny is committed to the project: She’s even staying at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast in Fall River, MA, the town where spinster Borden hacked up her father and stepmother in 1892. (Sing the song with me: Lizzie Borden took an axe / Gave her mother 40 whacks / When she saw what she had done / She gave her father 41…) More »

The jury’s still out on whether James Franco succeeded as an Oscars host. But he definitely had some great digital footage behind the scenes. From the moment he walked up on stage to the end of the show, James was tweeting, videoing and generally sharing his night with the world.
Here are some of the highlights. More »
The Oscars are this Sunday, and hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco are both hard at work getting ready. Well, Anne Hathway is. James Franco appears to be sleeping with cats on his couch. However, we think Anne could take a lesson or two from him, because the latest promo video for the show makes us nervous. More »
