What has been the high point of the decade?
The way people have really come together and started all of these amazing charities for people who are suffering. This decade has been a lot about giving back.

And the low point?
The economic crisis that has affected so many people, causing them to lose their jobs and homes. September 11 was also such a huge tragedy that I will always remember.

Who was the greatest hero of the decade?
Bono, for all his accomplishments for the world. Not only is he an amazing singer and artist, but he dedicates his life to helping the less fortunate and to saving lives. He is such an inspiration to me as a philanthropist.

Who was the biggest villain?
Osama bin Laden. He is an evil person who has destroyed the lives of so many people.

Paris kicks off a weekend of promoting (and partying in the name of) her new line of sunglasses. She will be at Gripping Eyewear’s station (booth #18103) at 2 p.m. this afternoon if you plan on stopping by!

Tomorrow the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas will be holding a poolside premiere for Paris Hilton’s new sunglass collection launch. The evening will feature an appearance by Hilton, along with a VIP cocktail party and fashion show.

The event will take place on Friday, October 2 starting at 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

Paris Hilton was quite the blonde bombshell on the red carpet at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center’s ‘An Evening with Women: Celebrating Art, Music and Equality‘ event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night!

Paris posed on the red carpet with her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, and even chatted with gossip blogger Perez Hilton inside the event.

As for Paris and Doug, rumor has it that Paris’ family is not so happy with her new beau. Sister, Nicky, reportedly finds him “annoying and shallow.” And other family members think that Doug is just using her for “fame and status.”

Queen Latifah celebrated her birthday with friends and family this weekend and Paris Hilton was one of the many celebs in attendance. Guests at SIR Studios enjoyed a once in a lifetime live performance by Queen Latifah with special guests: Lady of Rage, Lil Kim, MC Lyte, Missy Elliott and Yo-Yo. She performed music from her new album, “Persona,” in stores on July 7th.

Paris and her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, sat in the front row of the concert, snapping pictures!

Paris Hilton glams it up on the red carpet at Leeza Gibbons’ Night to Make A Difference Oscar Viewing Party at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, CA.

Leeza, along with Olivia Newton-John and David Foster, set up the event as to introduce a way to turn Academy Awards® night into an interactive viewing party and webcast designed to honor Hollywood and celebrate the industry’s huge heart. Their goal was to empower guests and viewers to make a change in their own lives and in the world.

Paris Hilton looks like a wedding cake as she poses on the red carpet at the ‘Montblanc Signature for Good’ Charity Initiative. The event was held at Paramount Studios on Friday.

The initiative featured the portraiture photography of American photographer Roger Moenks to benefit UNICEF’s education and literacy programs. Supporters included Eva Longoria, Sienna Miller, Susan Sarandon, Emily Blunt, Marcia Cross, Christina Ricci, Andie MacDowell, Helen Hunt, Lauren Hutton, Milla Jovovich, Jessica Lange and Mira Sorvino.

Guests enjoyed a unique menu designed by Wolfgang Puck and, following dinner, also enjoyed entertainment by a swing band.

Paris Hilton poses at the Hollywood Life House at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday.

Paris was spotted leaving the gifting suite with 30 bags stuffed full of free merchandise from Whiting & Davis, which makes metal mesh material and accessories.

Even the publicity people representing the Hollywood Life House seemed aghast, noting in a press release that the Hilton hotel heiress did it, “without shame.”

In other news, Paris found herself caught up in a drug bust after a drunk driver tried to pretend that he was on his way to pick up Paris and former friend Brandon Davis (who wasn’t even in Australia) in an attempt to get out of a ticket. The cops didn’t buy the story and eventually found cocaine and prescription pills in his possession!
