Kanye West has proven once again that he is a giant tool. Last night at the MTV VMA awards, while Taylor Swift was giving her acceptance speech for getting the award for Best Female Video, he leaped on stage, interrupting her speech and started ranting on how Beyonce should have won it for her video “Single Ladies”. Watch:
Beyonce and the entire audience were shocked and started booing him, Taylor just stood there looking like she was about to cry,… More »
At the opening of the Malibu Lumber Yard yesterday (wait. why is Angie Harmon at the opening of a LUMBER YARD? Has she really become that irrelevant?), Angie defended Miss California’s controversial remarks about gay marriage:
“If someone is standing up for how they feel and talking about their beliefs, why are we punishing her for that?” Harmon, 36, told Usmagazine.com Tuesday at the opening of the Malibu Lumber Yard in Calif. “I just don’t understand how we’ve gotten to a… More »
At the 36th annual Film Society of Lincoln Center Gala Tribute on Monday night in New York, where Oscar winner Tom Hanks was presented the new Chaplin Award, Julia Roberts made her feelings for Hanks known with some pretty descriptive language. Let’s just say that she said some VERY naughty words – which made me lurve her even more, if that were even possible. Here’s the video (remember, contains some naughty words!):
Here’s one of the quotes that she said:
“That movie… More »
Pretty much anything that Tina Fey has ever done is made of teh awesome. She can make me laugh just sitting there calling for takeout. My girl Tina (we’re like this, me and Tina) showed up on the Jimmy Fallon show last night, unfortunately, since I fall asleep on the couch by, oh, 9 PM pretty much every night due to the fact that my children suck out my will to live, I have to put up with just finding… More »

I never get tired of watching these two together! And speaking of, when are we going to get another movie with them?
Anyway, here’s what Angelina had to say about going to these shows with Brad:
“We’ve been doing it together for four years – it’s aways nice. I don’t think I’d want to be doing it alone. It’s nice to be doing it with your best friend … and have a laugh in the middle of the show.”
But Jolie wouldn’t… More »
Newsweek has posted some fantastic videos from their Oscar Roundtable with Robert Downey Jr, Brad Pitt, Frank Langella, Anne Hathaway, Mickey Rourke, and Sally Hawkins. Every video is about five minutes long, but they are all well worth watching.

I know I’m coming in kinda late on this one since the Globes were this weekend, but it’s still worth talking about. Ryan Seacrest, who is probably the most over-exposed celebrity on the planet, was trying to be a journalist on the red carpet at the awards show, shmoozing, talking to celebs, etc. After speaking with Beyonce, he went down to talk to Brad Pitt and Anglelina Jolie and they completely ignored him. Completely. It’s kind of awkward to watch:

Of course, there were some pretty great speeches at the Golden Globe awards last night. I think my favorite was Tina Fey’s:
Tracy Morgan was also pretty funny, although I think he was probably too smashed to remember it:

Tina Fey has been voted “Entertainer of the Year” by the Associated Press.
