We’ve been raving about Seth Meyers‘ terrific monologue at Saturday’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner left and right. The success of the event is a testament to Seth’s crew of super-stellar comedy writers,* one of whom is Chappelle’s Show co-creator Neal Brennan. Neal posted this video about getting to meet the Obamas at a cocktail reception (he greeted our President with a “Hey Man,” and now he’s on the No-Fly List) — and goodness is Barack Obama ever an awesome guy. About an hour ago, the POTUS stood in the rec hall at Pennsylvania State. Barack Obama spoke for a half an hour about the energy crisis to over 3,000 students at the school, some of whom have been camping out for tickets to the event since Tuesday night.
