Someone Bid $23,000 For A Walk-On Role In Ben Stiller's Next Movie

Neighborhood Watch is Ben Stiller‘s next flick, a drama about a sex offender who’s released from prison and has to grapple with his own morality. Just kidding! It’s a light-hearted comedy with a sci-fi bent co-starring Jonah Hill and Vince Vaughn about a small town neighborhood watch committee. And someone has paid $23,000 to score an extra role in the film — all for charity, of course. More »

The 5 Biggest Tony Award Snubs

The 5 Biggest Tony Award Snubs

All awards shows can be problematic. The Oscars, the Emmys, the Tonys… no matter what the medium, the politics involved often determine who gets nominated and who wins more than the art itself. It’s true that the Tonys usually aren’t quite as bad as, say, the Oscars can be, largely because Broadway is a little more of a niche world than Hollywood; but snubs still happen, though, and this year, there are some pretty spectacular ones in terms of high-profile celebrities getting zilch for their efforts. Exclusive: Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Went Out on Valentine's Day - But Not With Each Other

This Valentine’s Day, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick both went to the restaurant Odeon in New York’s TriBeCa neighborhood. However, the married couple didn’t come to the restaurant together. SJP was seated with an unidentified man believed to be her date for the night – “She was feeding him food off of her plate,” said a source, “and they looked pretty intimate to me.” As for Parker’s husband? Broderick walked in with friends Casey Affleck and Ben Stiller and sat at a table where they could view Parker easily. More »

Video: Celebrating The Holidays With 'Little Fockers'

Meet the Parents was one of those uniquely funny films that allowed a comedian (Ben Stiller) to riff against a stoic straight man (Robert DeNiro) who no one ever imagined would be able to outdo the comedian at his own game. Of course there are the epically memorable lines –”I have nipples, Greg, can you milk me?” — and the inevitable sequel which, thanks to the help of wacky performances from Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand, was not nearly as… More »

Jonah Hill Dishes About Playing The Villain In The 'Zoolander' Sequel

Rejoice, Zoolander fans! After some chatter than the sequel was scrapped, it appears that Ben Stiller will be back as male model Derek with Jonah Hill attached as the bad guy.

“I haven’t read a script yet, but it’s something we’re all talk about,” Jonah tells Crushable. “I haven’t read the script yet.”

Zoolander 2 will be the follow-up to the 2001 cult movie classic, which did not fare well at the box office but became a blockbuster on DVD. Justin Theroux… More »

Jesse Eisenberg Reunites With ‘Zombieland’ Director For ’30 Minutes Or Less’

Jesse Eisenberg Reunites With 'Zombieland' Director For '30 Minutes Or Less'

I’m sorry, this just looks like the best movie ever. Maybe it’s because I am obsessed with Zombieland (best celebrity cameo in years, no spoilers), so I have faith that director Ruben Fleischer’s new film 30 Minutes Or Less will be just as good. Especially since Jesse Eisenberg – finally out of Michael Cera’s shadow – is now attached to the project, after starring in Zombieland. 30 Minutes already has Aziz Ansari and Danny McBride (Eastbound and Down) as co-leads,… More »

Mandy Moore Moves Into The Ritz, Leaves Kellan Lutz Behind

Mandy Moore Moves Into The Ritz, Leaves Kellan Lutz Behind

Mandy Moore apparently deemed New Orleans too dirty so she moved into the Ritz-Carlton while shooting her new move Love, Wedding Marriage. We don’t know what’s more bizarre: the fact that this kind of diva ‘tude is out of character for Mandy, or the fact that someone referred to her co-star Kellan Lutz as the “bigger” name. (Page Six)

Let The ‘Greenberg’ Backlash Begin

Let The 'Greenberg' Backlash Begin

The Awl’s Natasha Vargas-Cooper walked out of a screening of Greenberg — the new Noah Baumbach film starring Ben Stiller as an angsty judgmental thirtysomething — because she hated Stiller’s character so much. She writes of Greenberg and his love interest (played by Greta Gerwig), “GREENBERG IS NOT A HUMAN!!! HE’S NEUROSIS WITH KNEES! AND SHE’S KINDA ‘BLAH.”

Love! This is like when we felt rage-y about Knocked Up and the tragic idea that Katherine Heigl would willingly settle for… More »

11 Things We Wish We Saw On Oscar Night

11 Things We Wish We Saw On Oscar Night

What a glorious night it was! Power to the female, right? Beyond Kathryn Bigelow’s well-deserved Best Director win for The Hurt Locker, there was so much to luuurve about the Academy Awards telecast: the tribute montage to John Hughes, Zoe Saldana’s flouncy purple gown, Charlize Theron’s embroidered boobie roses.

But, like any Oscars ceremony, there was an extra something-something missing that producers inexplicably could not fit into a 4-hour award-a-thon. Memorable moments, unplanned events. Yes, there was a conspicuous lack of spontaneity–come on, Bigelow, Jeff Bridges, Mo’Nique… More »

Jessica Alba Becomes A Focker

Jessica Alba Becomes A Focker

Sounds like Jessica Alba may be the next Focker in town!

Paul Weitz will be directing the third installment of the “Focker” series, which will focus on Gaylord and Pamela becoming parents.

It is to be entitled, “Little Fockers.”

The comedy will still star Ben Stiller, Robert DeNiro and Teri Polo, but this time will add Jessica Alba.

Her character is said to be a pharmaceutical rep whose beauty causes trouble with the men in the film.

Should be a funny one!
