The Jonas Brothers Are in Toronto Filming a Movie
Apparently the handsome Jonas Brothers have been spotted around Toronto, Canada and are in the middle of shooting a movie. I”m sure girls everywhere are filled with excitement at the thought of meeting the trio. I’ll make sure to carry my camera everywhere with me just in case I run into them.

Avril Lavigne Named Canadian Ambassador of 2010 World Expo Shanghai
Avril Lavigne was set to attend the Countdown to the 2010 World Expo on Friday night, where she was named Canadian Ambassador of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. The event will take place next year in Shanghai, China and is said to be something that will outdo the extravagance that was the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics! (Side note: Although it’s not a sports competition, how funny would it be if Avril was sent over do a swim relay or something?!)

Rihanna Faces Same Malaysia Concert Controversy As Avril Lavigne Did
Remember back in August when Avril Lavigne’s Best Damn Tour concert stop in Malaysia was in danger of being cancelled because protestors thought she was “too sexy”? WELL! Rihanna is having the same problem! According to the same group, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, the “Disturbia” singer is “sexier and more dangerous” than Avril! The 20-year-old performer’s management say that she is “aware of the country’s regulations and the difficulties of doing a show.”

Fan: Avril Controversy “Embarrassing”
Check out this Letter to the Editor written by an Avril Lavigne fan about the controversy surrounding the Best Damn Tour in Malaysia, which was protested by some who said that Avril was a “bad influence.”
I REFER to the letter “Some of our artistes are really bad influences” (The Star, Aug 28). I agree with her absolutely.
