Blake Lewis’ album Heartbreak on Vinyl comes out on October 6, 2009 but the second single (the title track) hit the internet a couple days ago. It’s definitely got an 80s sound mixed with a modern dance vibe and, while I love the American Idol Season 6 runner-up, I don’t particularly like this song and I am borderline obsessed with 80s music.

In case you missed the announcement, Blake will be releasing a dance-pop album called Heartbreak on Vinyl on October 6, 2009. This is his first album under the Tommy Boy Entertainment label. His single “Sad Song” is set to debut next week on July 21, 2009.

Yesterday, People reported that American Idol Season 6 runner-up, Blake Lewis, will be releasing a dance-pop album to follow up his 2007 effort, Audio Day Dream. American Idol season 6 runner-up, Blake Lewis, has been signed to Tommy Boy Records and he seems really excited about it since they allowing him to make the dance record that he’s been wanting to do.
