The Associated Press has covered Hilary Duff’s trip to Bogota, which is great. This gives us an interview that hasn’t been dubbed over! In the interview, Hilary shares that she had an “amazing invitation from the Mayor’s office to come to Bogota, recognize the work that I’ve been doing with children and the founder of Blessings in a Backpack, Stan Curtis. Hilary Duff’s Bogota Visit
Earlier, we shared some of the photos that Jamie Rodriguez was putting on his Twitter account in Bogota. Jamie has continued to document Hilary’s visit to Bogota, working on a documentary of her visit. In addition to documenting her many visits, Jamie has been interviewing Hilary each day. Hilary Duff Honored in Bogota
Hilary Duff flew to the city of Bogota in Colombia where she was greeted by the Mayor, Samuel Moreno. Hilary Duff was named youth ambassador for Bogota for her work with Blessings in a Backpack, a program now to be available in the city. Hilary Duff Confirms Bogota Visit
Hilary Duff has confirmed that she will be making a trip to Bogota, Colombia this August (sometime in the first week)

Hilary Duff at Kentucky Speedway
Hilary Duff headed to the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta on Saturday to serve as the grand marshal for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Meijer 300.
Hilary Duff was at the event on behalf of Blessings in a Backpack, the charity organization that helps feed children over the weekend. The organization partnered with Meijer for the race weekend – raising more than $50,000 and collecting new and used backpacks for students.

Hilary Duff to Appear at Kentucky Speedway
Hilary Duff will be heading to the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta on June 13th. She’s going to serve as the grand marshal of the NASCAR nationwide series “Meijer 300 Presented by Ritz.”
Hilary will be there as spokesperson for Blessings in a Backpack, a charity close to her heart. She’ll be encouraging donations for the charity, a non-profit that works to provide backpacks of food for kids in various schools across the US.

Hilary Duff visits Normandie Elementary
Hilary Duff paid another visit to Normandie Elementary School in LA yesterday, a school that she funds as part of the Blessings in a Backpack program. Hilary Duff goes around the country as spokesperson for the program, which sends food home with kids for the weekend, but fully funds the initiative at Normandie on her own.

Hilary Duff Speaks at Contact School in Toronto

Hilary Duff spent two hours today at Contact, a small school in Toronto. Hilary was there to promote Blessings in a Backpack, which has been implemented at Contact for the past two months. Each student has been home with a backpack stuffed with granola bars, Alphaghetti, baked beans, carrot cake, plus apples, oranges and pears.

Hilary Duff at Tice Elementary – Video
There are more reports out about Hilary Duff’s appearance at Tice Elementary School on Wednesday to support her Blessings in a Backpack program, which sends food home with kids on Friday so they and their families don’t go hungry for the weekend. The cost to run the program is $80 per child for the school year, so Hilary was on hand earlier this week to help fundraise to keep the program active.
