Hilary Duff flew into Florida on Monday to start a week of tours for her Blessings in a Backpack charity. On Tuesday, Hilary Duff attended a fundraiser for the charity at Bacchus restaurant in Fort Myers (see photos here).

Hilary Duff will be flying to Toronto, Ontario this Friday to host a special charity dinner. ‘An Intimate Charity Dinner with Hilary Duff’ will be held at Toronto’s Ultra Supper Club. Proceeds from the event, which includes a silent auction, will support Hilary’s charity, Blessings in a Backpack.

Hilary Duff will be traveling to Florida next week for another appearance for her Blessings in a Backpack charity program.

Hilary Duff traveled to New York with representatives of Blessings in a Backpack to ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Hilary Duff and charity founder Stan Curtis had the honor of ringing the bell.

Aside from the charity work she does for them, Hilary really helps to bring a face to this charity. Hilary Duff visited Portland Elementary school on October 22nd. A special announcement was made there about Aegon of Louisville supporting the Blessings in a Backpack program, of which Hilary Duff is a big supporter. Earlier in the week Hilary visited schools in Fort Wayne as well.

As mentioned before, Hilary Duff headed to Fort Wayne yesterday as part of her continued support of the Blessings in a Backpack program.
Blessings in a Backpack provides food for kids who might otherwise be hungry over the weekend – kids receive a backpack full of food on Friday, which they return empty on Monday to be refilled the next Friday.
