Afrobeat legend Femi Kuti and The Positive Force played a free show for Celebrate Brooklyn last night at the Prospect Park Bandshell. Thankfully the rain gave up for one day and it was beautiful out. Aside from all of the previously mentioned New Year’s Eve shows, some late night ones have been added.

Amanda Palmer & The Danger Ensemble will be playing a 2 a.m. show at the Bowery Ballroom (after Patti Smith). Tickets go on sale Friday at noon.

Mr. Brownstone (GNR cover band) will be playing at 2 a.m. at Mercury Lounge (after A Place to Bury Strangers). Tickets are on sale.
