Am I Right Ladies? A Bündchen of BS

I always try to remind myself: Don’t blame the models, blame the advertisers. And even if this particular model stole Tom Brady away from his very pregnant girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, advertising probably had something to do with it, and we mustn’t blame her. I practice this mantra in therapy weekly, and I really think it’s starting to strengthen my body image perception and curb my emotional eating when watching television. But even my suspension of disbelief stops at Gisele Bündchen’s latest Brazilian lingerie ads. And I can suspend my disbelief to the point of thinking I won’t die alone. I mean seriously, my suspended disbelief is bigger than my waist size, amirightladies?

Look, I know Gisele didn’t write the copy. She certainly didn’t art direct these spots, nor was she likely responsible for the shot composition. But no one held a gun to her head while the cameras were rolling—and probably not before or after either. Girls, I know you’re tempted to say, “I saw City of God, so I know that kind of violence happens in Brazil all the time,” but resist the urge—let’s expand our horizons, ladies, not our waistlines. I’m pretty confident she signed up for this on her own free will. And I’m not confident about anything, amirightladies? I wish I weren’t.

Allow me to present Exhibit A:

It’s like, why do women even bother getting dressed, amirightladies? Stay in your underwear at all times, and the world is your oyster. Of course, it helps to have a body more like Gisele’s and less like a beached whale. Either way, to be safe just be nearly naked at all times.

But seriously, ladies, we always be crashing cars, amiright? I think I just crashed a car right now. Wait, what’s a car?

Allow me to present Exhibit B:

I totally forgot to mention these are actually lessons. The makers of Hope Lingerie were kind enough to spell the nudity rule out for us in the simplest of terms. After all, if we don’t know how to drive properly and don’t comprehend the basic concept of a credit line, then how the heck are we supposed to infer the meaning of a commercial? Thank goodness they kept the spots to 15 seconds; anything longer than 20 and I’m already thinking about my hair and huffing nail polish. Life is distracting, amirightladies?

So women are bad with money, bad with automobiles, but great with taking their clothes off. Gisele didn’t invent this wheel, she’s just riding it all the way to the bank. So can we really hold her accountable? I say yes. She’s the one speaking the words, so she must believe in them—that’s how advertisements work, right? Ugh, I shouldn’t have huffed so much Pirates of the Caribbean Planks A Lot OPI nail polish. I think I’m definitely dying alone.

Gisele Bundchen Adopt?

Just yestesrday I talked about Gisele Bundchen being a stepmom to Tom Brady’s ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan and today, we find out that Gisele wants to be a mom of her own! Exposay tells us that Bundchen wants to adopt a child from Brazil. She wants to open her home to an underprivledged boy or girl from the country after seeing some of the terrible lives some children live.

Gisele is already a stepmom to an 18 month son, so has had some practice being around children already. I wonder if Brady is on the same page as Gisele. Is this in the near future or just something talked about vageuly i wonder.

What Made Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s Relationship Stronger

Gisele Bundchen has opened up and shared with us her experience of newly husband Tom Brady and his knocked up ex-girlfriend. The couple were married last February and what an amazing couple they were. It was all smiles on the outside, but how was Gisele really feeling on the inside? After two months of the Brazilian supermodel and American footballer dating, they found out that Brady’s ex-girlfriend, Bridgit Moynahan, was carrying his baby.

I’m sure that would have been a shock for both of them, however I am glad that things were finally clear. Up until now, I thought that one of the reasons Brady made a run for it was because he found out Bridget was pregnant. Now that would have been really low. Deadspin tells us that in Gisele’s interview with Vanity Fair, ‘it was definitely a surprise for both of us’ and that this bump start only made their relationship stronger. She thought that their relationship was just too good to be true, and then sure enough they got the ‘wake-up call’.

Gisele obviously had questions, concerns and second guessing. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to be in between this, or if Brady and Moynahan should try to make their relationship work with a baby on the way. I think anyone would have had the same thoughts, this is nothing easy to conquer and it doesn’t stop once the baby is born. It sounds as if Gisele and Tom were very mature about this and went into it knowing all sides to the puzzle. They found out early on in the game who each other really were, and what they were made out of. No surprises later on in this relationship.

Gisele is happy to be a stepmom but realizes that she will not overstep the boundaries of the mom’s relationship with the child. Wow this child is going to have two gorgeous looking mother figures growing up to!

I’m sure by now you’ve heard the rumor that Tom Brady proposed to his girlfriend Gisele Bündchen aboard a private jet filled with white roses.

Sounds romantic enough doesn’t it?

Truth is, it may all be just that – a rumor!

Tom’s parents have admitted to being clueless about the rumor and deny the couple are engaged.

Former girlfriend and mother of Tom’s son, Bridget Moynahan has also stated she didn’t believe the rumor because Tom usually shares all the news with her before it hits the stands.
