The stars were out last night to support multiple sclerosis research at the 17th Annual Race to Erase MS gala. Avril Lavigne (who performed during the event) and boyfriend Brody Jenner were there, and Brody posed on the red carpet with his mom Linda Thompson.

Nickelodeon’s James Maslow, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Holly Montag, Gossip Girl mom Kelly Rutherford, Kaley Cuoco, Jessica Lowndes, Anne Heche, Sophia Bush, and Olympians Lindsey Vonn and Apolo Anton Ohno were also in attendance, along with Dancing with the Stars‘ Gilles Marini, Louis van Amstel, Chelsie Hightower, Tony Dovolani, Brooke Burke and fan favorite Buzz Aldrin.

Paula Abdul Doing "Dancing With the Stars?"

I don’t know if she was supposed to say anything but this year’s Dancing with the Stars winner, Brooke Burke, was interviewed and asked about any potential breaking news in terms of next season’s casting. Guess who’s name slipped from her lips? Paula Abdul!

I think the American Idol judge could do really well on DWTS so, this is one rumor that I hope is true! Brooke also said that she would love to see Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, hit the dance floor. I’d love to see that too!
