Britney Spears gives sneak peek at Candie's on Facebook

Britney Spears and her online media team posted a photo to Facebook in order to give us a sneak peek at her upcoming Candie’s campaign. You can check out the single photo right here. It looks like the new campaign will have a very different feel from the last one. Britney’s prior work with Candie’s had a bit of a bubblegum vibe with a hint of sexiness going on. The new photo looks like it’s much more serious and mature.

Only time will tell!

Yesterday I wrote about Candie’s decision to renew Britney’s contract to keep her on as their spokesperson through 2010.

Britney Spears to remain Candie's rep

It’s been about a year since Britney Spears became the face of Candie’s. The company must be happy with the work she did and the attention she brought to them because they’ve renewed the contract.

Candie’s announced they will continue to work with Britney through 2010 and that she will be featured in a new campaign with Kohl’s over the next year. No details on the upcoming campaign have been released yet but we should hear more about it next month.

I’m glad that Candie’s knows that Britney is a big asset to their company!

Behind the scenes of Britney Spears' Candie's ads

There are a couple more photos of Britney Spears in her Candie’s ads available today. I’m really loving the Fall 2009 looks very much, they’re all clothes that I would wear myself.

There’s also a great video of behind the scenes footage from the photo and video shoot for the campaign. Check it out!

I have to agree with Britney, that little black lace dress is absolutely fabulous! I know I’d buy that in a flash if there was a Kohl’s near me.

Britney Spears' new Candie's ad

I know that in general a woman would prefer to be called beautiful or pretty or even sexy but I have to use this word right now – Britney Spears looks *adorable* in her new ad for Candie’s! Look at this!

The new Fall campaign features a lot of classic pieces and are sold at really reasonable prices. That’s always a great bonus, because Britney has a lot of young fans who can’t necessarily shell out $300 for a sweater, you know? It’s fun when you can look at your idol, see what she’s wearing, and then go buy the same thing.

Britney also wore some Candie’s pieces for the “Radar” video. She said, “I was so excited to wear Candie’s in my ‘Radar’ video. I especially loved their jeans and cute dresses which were perfect for the theme of my video.” A clip from “Radar” will be included in an upcoming television promo for Candie’s.

Candie’s has also been a sponsor for her Circus tour so it’s a really huge collaboration overall.

Awhile back I mentioned that Britney Spears was teaming up with Candie’s. She did some work for the Spring marketing campaign and the photos are absolutely gorgeous.

According to their press release, Britney said, “I had so much fun shooting the Candies for Kohl’s campaign. My favorite set-up was against the gigantic wall of pink cotton candy. I got to wear the cutest clothes and they are perfect for summer!”

Candie’s and Kohl are also both sponsors for Britney’s Circus tour.

Britney Spears is a Candies Girl

Just a day away from launching her huge Circus tour starting in New Orleans, it’s also been announced that Britney Spears is a Candies girl!

Britney Spears has been announced as the new face for Candies, specifically of a clothing line for girls. The photo above and below are from a photoshoot for the company – she looks amazing!

Meanwhile, everything is getting set up for her first concert tomorrow, check out the big promo picture in New Orleans:

I wonder if Britney is nervous – although she’s done a lot of performances since her album was released in December, this is her first big tour in years. I know I’d be freaking out! On behalf of Britney Groupie I wish Britney all the best for her shows!
