Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have stepped out on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the debut of Inglourious Basterds!
Brad is looking divine in a dark Tom Ford tux. Meanwhile Angelina is looking HOT in a very sexy high-slit dress by Versace. I’m so glad to see her in a different color, and that cut up the leg is just… WOW. You can check out style notes over here.

It’s a busy day for Brad Pitt in Cannes today. He’s already attended the official photocall for Inglourious Basterds along with cast and crew including Quentin Tarantino, Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, Mike Myers, Daniel Bruhl, Elii Roth, Melanie Laurent, Lawrence Bender, and Michael Fassbender.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hit Cannes early
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly arrived in Cannes, showing up a few days early for their time slot at the Cannes Film Festival.
According to the AFP, Brad and Angelina will be staying at the Eden Roc at Cap d’Antibes, which is where Angelina was spotted last year when she was very much pregnant.
Inglourious Basterds premieres on Wednesday – brace yourself for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie red carpet photos!

He arrived at a party to celebrate the premiere of the film Synecdoche, New York, which is Michelle Williams’ new movie. Brad Pitt can work a red carpet
Angelina Jolie may have gotten mixed reviews for her beige dress, especially compared to last week’s green dazzler, but here’s something undeniable – although he’s uber-casual at home, Brad Pitt sure can work a red carpet. I still LOVE the tux and I really like the sparkly square buttons.
Truly, it doesn’t much matter what dress Angelina wears on the red carpet. If she’s got Brad Pitt on her arm, she’s already got the best accessory anyway.

Angelina Jolie Cannes Style – Green vs Beige
It’s definite! Although some people voiced an opinion that they liked Angelina Jolie’s flowing beige dress, most people did not love it. Like I said earlier, I think she still looks gorgeous because she’s so radiant but I’m not crazy about the second Cannes red carpet dress.
I absolutely prefer the green dress from the Kung Fu Panda red carpet and I think most other people did as well.

Angelina Jolie and Brad PItt have arrived on the red carpet in Cannes for Changeling!
Angie is wearing a very loose and flowing beige gown with gorgeous detailing at the collar, and Brad is looking very sexy in a tux.
I definitely prefer last week’s gorgeous green gown, but Angelina still looks beautiful.

Angelina Jolie joins Clint Eastwood at Cannes
Bright and early this morning, Angelina Jolie hit the Cannes Film Festival once again to attend the photocall and press conference for Changeling with Clint Eastwood, cast, and crew.
Angelina Jolie was in her trademark black again but you can’t deny that she’s still glowing – she’s absolutely radiant.

Since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in Cannes again in preparation for Angelina’s whirlwind day tomorrow for promoting Changeling, it looks like the two of them decided to make the best of it. Brad and Angie were seen leaving their hotel for a date together.

If you’ve been reading Pittwatch for awhile, you already know what the Brad Pitt Maneuver is – it’s when Brad’s hand rests, by default, on Angelina Jolie’s, uh, behind.
At Cannes this year, we didn’t see the Brad Pitt Maneuver (I must copyright that and put it on a t-shirt), but we saw Angelina do it to him. That was good enough for me.

Great Angelina Jolie and Jack Black photo!
This photo of Angelina Jolie and Jack Black comparing belly size is just hilarious. I love the sense of humor that seems to be shared among the cast of Kung Fu Panda, it looks like they got along so well and had a lot of laughs along the way.
I just hope they didn’t place any bets – I’m pretty sure Angelina will be giving birth before Jack!

Brangelina’s Cannes Invasion – two videos
Here is a great video of Angelina Jolie at Cannes for Kung Fu Panda. There’s some Brad Pitt in there – great Jack Black quote: “Brad Pitt’s pretty badass”.
This video is wonderful – lots of joking going on between Angelina, Jack, and Dustin Hoffman.
I loved when Dustin Hoffman said that at one point Angie had the chance to make a choice between him and Brad.

It was a moment of trading places on the red carpet in Cannes tonight. Usually it’s Brad Pitt hanging onto Angelina Jolie’s butt – the “Brad Pitt Maneuver” as we refer to it around here!
