Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba resumed her red carpet interview duties at last night’s Grammy Awards. She and Chris Harrison interviewed the celebs as they arrived on the red carpet and their interviews were aired on TV Guide Network.

I think she looked very glamorous on the red carpet herself, don’t you?

On last night’s Emmy Awards red carpet were some of the most glamorous and beautiful divas of reality TV dance ever! They all looked amazing and I love how they are from all the major dance shows. And it’s no accident that I included America’s Best Dance Crew’s host Mario Lopez with the divas…he’s a diva if there ever was one!

Carrie Ann Inaba is Getting Ready for the Emmys

One of the people on the red carpet at the Emmys will be Dancing With the Stars judge, Carrie Ann Inaba. She’ll be there to interview the celebrities as they arrive for the event.

The Emmy Award Show isn’t until this Sunday night, but Carrie Ann is already getting ready. It’s not an event where someone can wait for the last minute to start preparing. And to get ready to talk to all the stars, she has lots of homework to do ahead of time.

TV Guide has Carrie Ann’s own checklist of things to do before Emmy day. Here are a couple of surprising things she’ll have to do to get ready:

Study! I have a five-inch wide binder full of information on all of the people I will be interviewing on the red carpet! On top of that, I have watched every single television show, miniseries and film that is nominated.
Practice saying all of the designers’ names. These designers work really hard to make the best looks on the carpet, so I want to make sure they get their credit.
Read all the latest tabloids. On top of all my studying, I have been reading all the tabloids so I know what news is currently reported. I want to make sure I am up to date with all of my info!

Carrie Ann Inaba to Host Red Carpet Coverage

The beautiful and talented judge for Dancing With the Stars, Carrie Ann Inaba, has just signed a deal to host the awards show red carpet programs for TV Guide Netowrk. She’ll be sharing the hosting duties with Hollywood 411 host Chris Harrison. They will be taking the helm from two veterans of DWTS, Lisa Rinna & Joey Fatone.

“Carrie Ann Inaba and Chris Harrison are two of the highest profile faces on television today, who bring an instant connection with millions of fans at home and familiar, friendly faces to stars walking the Red Carpet,” said Ryan O’Hara, President, TV Guide Network and TVGuide.com. “Partnering with talent of their caliber is a huge win for us as we continue TV Guide Network’s transformation as a programming destination that celebrates the best and brightest stars in the world of entertainment.”

Carrie Ann Inaba said, “I’m thrilled to join TV Guide Network during such an exciting phase of its evolution. I am looking forward to teaming up with Chris Harrison and making the Red Carpet an inviting place to celebrate Hollywood and the stars.”

Learn About the Dizzy Feet Foundation

Last week, when Phillip was eliminated from the competition on So You Think You Can Dance, he made a very emotional statement about how difficult it is for underpriveledged young people to learn to dance. We’ve heard of it over and over…young people who want to dance and have the potential, but no money for lessons. The Dizzy Feet Foundation is going to attempt to put an end to that problem.

SYTYCD executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, along with Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba, producer & choreographer Adam Shankman and Katie Holmes has set up a new foundation, the Dizzy Feet Foundation to help pay for underpriveledged young dancers to get proper training.

They also hope to set up an accreditation system so that we can all know if our dance instructors are professionals. That’s great too, because nearly every season on SYTYCD auditions, there are simply attrocious dancers who say that they make a living by teaching others to dance. YIKES!

The milestone 100th episode of “So You Think You Can Dance,” airing Thursday, July 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX, will feature a special performance by Dizzy Feet Foundation founding member Katie Holmes that will help introduce the foundation to the public. Directed and choreographed by Tyce Diorio in collaboration with director of photography Dion Beebe, Holmes’ highly anticipated performance will be an homage to Judy Garland and will feature Holmes dancing to and singing Garland’s classic, “Get Happy,” from the musical “Summer Stock.”

“I think it’s important for children to experience music and dance,” said Holmes. “Every child should have the opportunity to discover what it is they like and have access to the very best in that pursuit.”

Carrie Ann Inaba, the beautiful Dancing With the Stars judge with the infectious laugh sat down to talk to Hollywood 411 about Steve-O’s elimination from the show. I like it that she says that it’s a transformation show and that he handled all of the obtacles with grace. Not to mention that he has been working on his own personal transformation off the dance floor too.

She talks about David Alan Grier’s anger at being voted off and about the frontrunners this season. She went on to confirm what many of us have suspected for a long time, that it’s more difficult for a woman to win on the show. Watch to find out why that is the case:

Dancing With the Stars won a People’s Choice Award last night for Favorite Reality Competition Show. This is a huge accomplishment! It was up against two of the biggest blockbuster reality shows of all, American Idol and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I wouldn’t have been surprised for any of them to have won. Here were the nominations:
