Remember when VH-1 used to pit two celebs against each other as an entertaining way to see who was better at…. X. Choose a topic. Anywho, of course they couldn’t resist doing one of these specials on the Simpson girls. This was a couple years ago, and they pitted Ashlee against Jess in things like vocals and who looks more like Jessica! (Which incidentally, Ashlee won. Hmmm….)

I’ve mentioned many times before that I really like Jessica Simpson’s Christmas album (a copy of which I’ll be giving here in just about a minute – hint hint) and especially some of the videos she did for it.

Video: Ashlee Simpson Clips
This is an awesome video that our dedicated reader Georgia sent in. It’s a combo of clips that look like they came from the old Ashlee show. We get to see both Ashlee and Jess as little girls (so very cute), then Ashlee as she is about to shoot her first video, then the “buffalo wings” commercial Ash and Jess did, and even that crazy Christmas duet they did on Jessica & Nick’s Christmas special.

New auntie Jessica Simpson is gushing about her nephew (and first son of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz) Bronx Mowgli. She says, “Bronx is beyond precious. I’m over the moon with joy.”
