Hilary Duff in Bogota Day 2
On August 15th, Hilary Duff’s second day in Bogota, Colombia, Hilary went with the Mayor to visit the Polideportivo Valles de Cafam, where she helped young people with disabilities and participated in a massive vaccination session, as we saw in the second photo here. Hilary Duff Gets Key to City
Hilary Duff went to Bogota, Colombia this weekend to kick-start her Blessings in a Backpack program in the city. While there, Hilary Duff was named “Ambassador for the Youth” by the Mayor, Samuel Moreno, and was given a key to the city.
Blessings in a Backpack will hand out more than 3,000 backpacks filled with food for the children of Bogota during their weekend visit – each weekend these bags will be refilled. In addition, Hilary Duff will be trying… More »
Hilary Duff Honored in Bogota
Hilary Duff flew to the city of Bogota in Colombia where she was greeted by the Mayor, Samuel Moreno. Hilary Duff was named youth ambassador for Bogota for her work with Blessings in a Backpack, a program now to be available in the city. Hilary will spend the weekend visiting schoolchildren and participating in cultural activities.

Hilary Duff at Kentucky Speedway
Hilary Duff headed to the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta on Saturday to serve as the grand marshal for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Meijer 300.
Hilary Duff was at the event on behalf of Blessings in a Backpack, the charity organization that helps feed children over the weekend. The organization partnered with Meijer for the race weekend – raising more than $50,000 and collecting new and used backpacks for students.

Hilary Duff co-hosted the AIDS Walk Opening Ceremony in Central Park, NY this morning. In addition, Hilary Duff had a group together to walk as part of the event. Mike Comrie was there at her side as her “Hilary Duff – Walk With Love” group progressed through the city.

Hilary Duff to Light Empire State Building
Hilary Duff will be in New York this Thursday to light the Empire State Building in a special event to honor the 24th annual AIDS Walk New York, of which Hilary is a part.

Not long after Hilary Duff’s PSA video for the AIDS Walk New York was released, Hilary was interviewed about why she was involved in the program.
Hilary considers it important to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS:

Hilary Duff visits Normandie Elementary
Hilary Duff paid another visit to Normandie Elementary School in LA yesterday, a school that she funds as part of the Blessings in a Backpack program. Hilary Duff goes around the country as spokesperson for the program, which sends food home with kids for the weekend, but fully funds the initiative at Normandie on her own.

Hilary Duff will be in Canada tonight for the launch of Blessings in a Backpack there! The event will launch with a press conference at Contact Alternative school in Toronto and Hilary will be attending.

Hilary Duff Interview at “Power of Love” Gala
Hilary Duff went to Las Vegas this weekend for the 13th Annual Keep Memory Alive “Power of Love” Gala fundraiser at the Bellagio, as you know from the earlier set of photos. The fundraiser benefited the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute, which researches cures for brain diseases like Alzheimer’s.

Hilary Duff at “Power of Love” Gala
Hilary Duff went to Las Vegas this weekend for the 13th Annual Keep Memory Alive “Power of Love” Gala fundraiser at the Bellagio. The gala benefitted the Lou Ruvo Foundation.
The night drew out over 900 people for the gala and the finale performance of illusionists Sigfried & Roy. In the red carpet photos Hilary is seen posing with Leeza Gibbons.
