The album features some traditional songs, including what’s sure to be an incredible duet with Charice Pempengco, as well as the original song, “Melodies of Christmas” which David wrote with his father Jeff and two other writers.

I think that too many celebrities come out with Christmas albums and most of them have no business trying to sing those classics in the first place.

I feel totally different about David.  I love his voice and I think this is a great idea.  I’m hoping he not only puts his own unique spin on the oldies but also comes out with good original songs as well.
