Clark Gilmer on the Cover of Garnet & Black

Clark Gilmer, who competed in Cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model is on the cover of the Holiday 2008 issue of Garnet & Black, the University of South Carolina’s student magazine. Clark is currently a junior at the school and is studying fashion merchandising and public relations.

Clark did a six page spread for the magazine as well, titled “A Model Student.” In it, she models clothes from Charlie Mack, Columbia and M Boutique, with accessories from Macy’s. Kim Shook for Estee Lauder did her makeup. The spread was shot by Caitlin Bradley, G&B’s photo editor.

Now that the ANTM (and Miss South Carolina!) whirlwind is over, Clark is unsure about her future.

“Modeling is my plan, but I think education is just as important,” Clark tells G&B. “Obviously, I would like to have the best of both worlds. I can’t really plan the future. I have no idea what kinds of contracts are coming my way. Everything’s open right now.”

Videos: Isis King on The Tyra Banks Show

Isis King was on yesterday’s episode of The Tyra Banks Show, when Tyra made Isis’s dreams come true. She made it possible for Isis to recieve her sex-change assignment surgery.

Clark also makes an appearance and talks about her issues with Isis and how Isis felt watching the show and hearing everyone’s reactions to her participation. Im really happy for Isis. I enjoyed her on the show and wish her a long and successful career.

Clark Gilmer Competing to Be Miss South Carolina

Clark Gilmer, who was eliminated during this cycle of America’s Next Top Model, is competing to be Miss South Carolina 2009! She is one of 40 contestants vying for the prize and you can see her headshot here. She is contestant #15.

The pageant will take place November 14 and 15 in High Point, South Carolina. The winner will go on to represent South Carolina at the Miss USA competition.

For some reason, this really isn’t surprising. What is surprising is that Clark kept her brown hair for the competition. Did she think being brunette would give her an edge?
