We always laughed at Arrested Development's ongoing subplot of the semi-incestuous relationship between manchild Buster and his mom Lucille, but this trailer straight-up creeps us out. Womb is a kinda sci-fi story about Rebecca (Eva Green), who loses her childhood sweetheart Thomas (Doctor Who's Matt Smith) in a freak accident. She manages to grab some of his DNA and impregnates herself with his clone, who she gives birth to and raises. It's unclear if she simply wants to bring Thomas back into the world because she loves him so much... or if from the start she knew that one day she would have sex with her son. More »
Post from: Crushable

We always laughed at Arrested Development‘s ongoing subplot of the semi-incestuous relationship between manchild Buster and his mom Lucille, but this trailer straight-up creeps us out. Womb is a kinda sci-fi story about Rebecca (Eva Green), who loses her childhood sweetheart Thomas (Doctor Who‘s Matt Smith) in a freak accident. She manages to grab some of his DNA and impregnates herself with his clone, who she gives birth to and raises. It’s unclear if she simply wants to bring Thomas back into the world because she loves him so much… or if from the start she knew that one day she would have sex with her son.

Rebecca’s obviously unhinged from Thomas’ death; the scene where his mother asks who would carry the fetus and Rebecca just smiles is so chilling. She’s setting herself up to be some sort of Virgin Mary, but that doesn’t change the situation. What’s interesting is that it’s not so much that she gave birth to him, but that she raised him: How could he see her as anything but his mother after those formative years?

Then of course, there’s the whole issue of Thomas II falling in love with some other girl his own age.

And why does Rebecca have to start getting all suggestive and sexual when her kid hasn’t even hit puberty?!

We’re so going to see this.

It's not secret that American Idol isn't JUST a singing competition. Contestants also need to worry about their image. Some have done a good job and others just seem to be copying what's popular.

WildBluffWalt at Wild Bluff Media has some interesting side-by-side comparisons to see exactly what kind of image some contestants are putting out there for the audience.

Now I love Chris Sligh, but that's funny!... More »
Post from: Crushable
