Rebecca’s obviously unhinged from Thomas’ death; the scene where his mother asks who would carry the fetus and Rebecca just smiles is so chilling. She’s setting herself up to be some sort of Virgin Mary, but that doesn’t change the situation. What’s interesting is that it’s not so much that she gave birth to him, but that she raised him: How could he see her as anything but his mother after those formative years?

Then of course, there’s the whole issue of Thomas II falling in love with some other girl his own age.

And why does Rebecca have to start getting all suggestive and sexual when her kid hasn’t even hit puberty?!

We’re so going to see this.
