New York’s Exclusive Arts Club Doesn’t Hate Women As Much As London Club

The Century Association is one of New York City’s oldest clubs, and not the kind of club where you can watch Harry Potter pole-dance to dubstep. No, this type of club conjures up imagery of old men rolling cigars while laughing at bawdy jokes as they sip their port, getting ready to discuss matters of importance in the literary and art world.

Of course, all of that has changed in recent years, with women being allowed as members. But not everyone is as progressive as The Century, and their “brother club” the Garrick in London still has a “no girls allowed” policy. Which made a lot of ladiez at The Century angry. Women: still ruining it for everyone!

Then again, it wasn’t just the women calling for the Century to be split with Garrick. Apparently the debate got so heated in this private affair that men made speeches about it in tuxes! Other people yelled about George Orwell. A lady of good standing had to stop checking her email because “Some of the rhetoric was scary.” Hey lady, if you can’t handle the heat, stay out of the pretentious art club!

In the end, ties were severed with the Garrick until England learns how to be as progressive as us and realize that – at least in matters of arts and music and books and the like – women can hold their own to men.

Lindsay Lohan leaves Bardot

Lindsay Lohan and a few of her friends went to Bardot Night Club in Hollywood Wednesday night. Lindsay seemed pretty happy and smiled a few times even though the paparazzi never let up.

Someone must have spilled their drink on Lindsay while she was there because she Twittered about it.

“So fun when someone spills a STICKY diet cola ALL OVER YOU!!!!!! NOT even regular cola! Diet it GROSS!”

Of course, the paparazzi made a huge deal out of the registration sticker for the car Lindsay gets in being out of date. So hopefully she will have someone take care of that for her.

X17 took video of Lindsay leaving the club and claim the driver almost ran over a photographer when they left. Well, do you think they could move away from the car so they can leave?

Lindsay appears to be wearing a man’s oversided black dress blazer over her white long shirt, a black top, really cute black tights or leggings and black boots.

Lindsay Lohan leaves Crown Bar

Lindsay Lohan was spotted leaving Crown Bar club late Friday night in Los Angeles.

According to X17, Lindsay was hiding her face because she was in tears or upset about something.

Well, on X17online’s post it looks like they drew pictures around Lindsay’s alleged tears.

In the video below, one of Lindsay’s girl pals tries to stop the paparazzi, and you can see that doesn’t go well:

Lindsay Lohan at Wonderland

Lindsay Lohan is photographed heading into the Wonderland nightclub in LA on Wednesday night.

The guy behind Lindsay in the photo (male model Petey Wright) caused the rumor mill to start spinning Thursday, but Gossip Cop has already put those rumors to rest.

According to Gossip Cop, Lindsay did not hook up with male model Petey Wright, though they did work together on a shoot. X17 had an unnamed source who said “Lindsay was all over Petey during the sexy photo shoot [earlier that day at the Chateau Marmont], and it continued when the shoot ended!”

Lindsay told Gossip Cop that is not true.

“My photo shoots consist of work and only work,” Lindsay said.

Lindsay also commented about it on Twitter Thursday.

“Just because I hang out w/a boy, that doesn’t mean he is my boyfriend. Can’t we have friends? Grrrrr! :) have a lovely day everyone”

Lindsay showed off her midriff while wearing a short black blazer, polka dot shirt and cropped black top along with her fitted black skinny jeans, black boots and a black hat.
