The Beautiful Life, a drama surrounding the lives of young models in New York, made its debut on The CW on September 2009 but was canceled after two episodes. The show starred an ensemble cast including Mischa Barton, Sara Paxton, Ashley Madekwe, Ben Hollingsworth, Corbin Bleu and Nico Tortorella.

However, due to fan support, Beautiful Life executive producer Ashton Kutcher brought the show to YouTube, not only airing the first two episodes, but three unaired episodes with the formation of the TBL YouTube Channel.

With over 3 million views, Kutcher said the possibility of more episodes being made available online is possible. One episode is “already in the can,” Kutcher said, and more episodes could be made.

What is needed, according to Kutcher, is a threshold needs to be reached on the number of subscribers to the TBL YouTube Channel.

That means that fans need to get the word out that the show is available online! If the threshold of subscribers is reached, Kutcher said it would be cost-effective to make more episodes.

So if you haven’t had a chance, visit The Beautiful Life YouTube Channel and watch the five episodes that are available, or at least sign up as a subscriber. If you don’t have time right now to watch the show, at least visit the Channel and sign up. You can always come back later to watch the episodes.

Though The Beautiful Life was canceled by The CW in September, TBL executive producer Ashton Kutcher with help from corporate sponsorship from HP: Create Change has brought all of the episodes that were made to YouTube.

Kutcher asked the stars to share their “beautiful change for 2010″ in making the world a better place. Click her to see Mischa’s and Sara’s plans for the new year.

Bleu expressed a desire to work with others and work on his personal goals. Working with others, Bleu is a spokesperson for Starlight Foundation which helps families of sick children and he wants to do more with the organization.

On a personal level, Bleu said he will be making his broadway debut.

Sadly, it was the first show of the fall season to get the axe.

The Beautiful Life, which aired on Wednesday nights, drew 1.5 million viewers in its first week and dropped to 1 million viewers in its second week.

The CW made the announcement late Friday that The Beautiful Life, a drama created by Ashton Kutcher about young fashion models trying to make it in new York, would be canceled.

The CW plans to show repeats of Melrose Place in its place on Wednesday nights.

Ironically, the cast was shooting its seventh episode on Friday when the network made its announcement.

For the record, I was really into the show and not just because of Mischa Barton. And I wasn’t the only one. Several people I know said they liked the show more than Melrose Place and 90210.

You know, not every new show can be The Vampire Diaries – jumping on the tailcoats of the Twilight craze. And while The Vampire Diaries appears to be a good show, it was given a lot more marketing – as well as Melrose Place, than The Beautiful Life ever received.

I was hoping The CW would give it more than two weeks before making a decision. The fall season just started and many shows haven’t even made their debuts. Could The CW not wait to see?

Mischa’s character Sonya Stone is getting a lot of paparazzi attention during a fashion shoot in NYC. That’s something Mischa should be pretty used to. The funny part is while The Beautiful Life was filming this part of the episode, there was TONS OF PAPARAZZI taking photos of Mischa. So in a way, they are probably using the media frenzy that day for the scene. Because on The Beautiful Life, Sonya gets a lot of media attention … good and bad (sound familiar Mischa fans?)

The conversation between Sonya and Raina during this party looks a little tense. Raina is very sweet and tried to help Sonya in the first episode. But I don’t know if Sonya knows if she can trust her yet.

Sonya confides in Cole for help in this episode. I’m interested in seeing Cole’s softer side. I say this because in the first episode, Cole was a jerk to Chris, who “thought” he was going to stay in his room at the models’ residence. But maybe he was just protecting his turf.

This Wednesday, the second episode of The Beautiful Life, 1.2 “The Beautiful Aftermath” will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday on The CW.

Here’s the official description for the episode:

Chris (Ben Hollingsworth) believes his chances at a modeling career are over and prepares to leave New York City until he receives a surprise phone call from Claudia (Elle Macpherson).

Claudia informs Raina (Sara Paxton) that she needs to focus more on her career and less on her new relationship with Chris.

Isaac (Corbin Bleu) confronts Vivienne (guest star Jamie Murray, Dexter) about her behavior towards him at a go-see, and the two end up working out an arrangement that serves both their needs.

Marissa (Ashley Madekwe) accuses Sonja (Mischa Barton) of stealing the Versace campaign from her and decides to seek revenge in a very public way, which leads Sonja to Cole (Nico Tortorella) for assistance.

Marissa invites Raina’s brother, Alex (guest star Billy Magnussen, As the World Turns), to a party hosted by Nina Garcia (Project Runway), where more secrets about Raina’s past are revealed.

If people give the show a chance, I think they will really enjoy this episode. There should be a lot of good drama from Mischa’s character Sonja and Marissa (Ashley Madekwe).

I’m also looking forward to watching the romance develop between Chris and Raina (sweet!).

And I want to find out more about Sonja’s past in regards to the baby she has and why she doesn’t want the father to be around her. It looks like Marissa will be sharing the news with everyone once she gets a hold of Sonja’s phone.

In the preview, Marissa says, “A person’s whole life can be on their phone.” So true. The things you can learn from who a person calls and reading their text messages!

Mischa will play veteran model Sonja Stone struggling to get back to the top on the new series, which is set to make its premiere on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. Mischa looks really lovely in this tight-fitting dress that flows to the floor. I particularly like how the bottom of the dress falls into soft pleats.

It’s pretty cool they were there promoting their new show because The Beautiful Life is about drama about the world of high-fashion modeling and the “not-so-beautiful” life of models.

Mischa will play Sonya Stone, a veteran model fighting her way back to the top after a mysterious leave of absence, while Bleu (known for his High School Musical role) will play a male model named Isaac who is working in modeling until he gets his big break in the music business.
