V Magazine‘s Plus-Size Issue Includes Whitney Thompson
V Magazine is the next magazine to get on the all-size-is-beautiful bandwagon. After Glamour published photographs of plus-size model Lizzie Miller in the nude (and looking gorgeous, by the way), there’s been an uproar in the fashion community to include more models of different shapes and sizes on the runways and inside fashion spreads.
V is going one step farther and doing an entire issue dedicated to plus-sized models.

Whitney Thompson Talks About Broadway Bares
Whitney Thompson, winner of Cycle 10 of America’s Next Top Model recently participated in the Broadway Bares fundraiser. The event raised money for the AIDS initiative, The Phyllis Newman’s Women’s Health Initiative, The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic and many more great organizations supported by the Actors Fund.

Top Models in Action: Fatima Siad
This week’s Top Model in Action was Cycle 10 top-three finisher Fatima Siad. Fatima was a competitive and controversial contestant while on the show, but took amazing photographs. Since appearing on America’s Next Top Model, Fatima has worked constantly, appearing in Elle, working for Betsey Johnston and walking in several shows in New York Fashion Week.

Makeup artist Rebecca Restrepo takes the two ANTM alum under her wing and shows them how to get runway ready makeup. It’s essentially a 10-minute infomerical, but it’s always fun to see the kind of work former ANTM winners get.

Whitney Thompson on MTV’s MADE
Whitney Thompson, winner of Cycle 10 of America’s Next Top Model made a brief appearance on the MTV show MADE a few weeks ago. The episode, titled “Power Girl” aired on February 21st, showed a young girl named Carrie getting made over into a girly girl. Carrie gets to briefly meet Whitney, and even though she claims she’s a big ANTM fan, she didn’t know who Whitney is!

Fatima Siad in Arbonne FC5 Commercial
Fatima Siad, who competed in Cycle 10 of America’s Next Top Model recently signed a contract to be a spokesperson and model for Arbonne skn care line. She’s appeared in a few print ads for the company over the past few months. Most recently, Fatima filmed a commercial for the company, which you can watch below.

Katarzyna Dolinska, who competed on Cycle 10 of America’s Next Top Model is thriving overseas. She recently walked in the Christophe Josse Haute Couture Spring Summer 2009 Fashion Show in Paris.

The final Top Model ins Action this cycle was Cycle 10′s runner-up Anya Rozova. Anya has been working constantly since Cycle 10 ended and seems to be carving a nice niche out for herself in Hong Kong. I think she has the potential to have an Elyse-style career.

I think this final commercial is an admittance that Whitney is not-and never will be-top model material. Whitney makes an appearance in their Misses section, first, modeling a double-breasted silver blazer that’s $59.99.
It’s also available in bronze, but Whitney wasn’t put in that jacket. I guess the silver was more her color?
