American Idol 8 Top 11 – Danny Gokey “Jesus Take the Wheel”
Danny Gokey had a hard time mastering the lyrics to Carrie Underwood’s breakout hit “Jesus Take the Wheel” and, while it started a little rough for me, he really sounded great during the chorus. American Idol 8 Danny Gokey “P.Y.T”
Danny Gokey sang “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” and it was a brilliant song choice (in my humble opinion) for a couple reasons. It suits coarse voice more than some of the other smooth Michael Jackson songs but it’s also energetic and people like to sing along to it.
