Party Report: Au Revoir Simone Enchants at Ann Taylor Showcase
Full disclosure: I do not look like someone who buys a lot of Ann Taylor. In fact, walking around the rooftop of the Gramercy Hotel last night, where the 2011 Spring Collection for the women’s fashion line was being showcased, I couldn’t help feeling a little out of place among the sophisticated neutral jackets, understated black dresses, and gorgeous heels. It’s true: despite my purple sneakers and red Michael Jackson Thriller jacket, I secretly covet the seemingly effortless business casual day-to-night look that is the trademark of Ann Taylor’s clothing line and their gorgeous accessories by Isa Tapia.
