Brittany Murphy passes away, entire world shocked, global panic ensues, it is now the APOCALYPSE.
I think we all know by now that Brittany Murphy has died, due to the massive coverage on every news station, every blog, every web site, every Twitter.

The sad, sordid story of Anna Nicole Smith’s final days
More details are surfacing about Anna Nicole Smith’s final days before her drug-induced death.
In addition to the usual crazy we’ve already heard about (see above), testimony is coming out from the criminal trial involving charges that Smith’s former lawyer-boyfriend Howard K. Stern and two California doctors conspired to illegally provide Smith with controlled substances; such as she couldn’t walk unassisted, couldn’t sit up, and was taking nourishment in a baby’s bottle. A new song was released Sunday night at midnight from Michael Jackson titled “This is It”.

The song was originally recorded with just Michael’s vocals and piano; the background vocals are his brothers, and the extra musical stuff was added in later. Lyrics:

RIP Patrick Swayze
Patrick Swayze has succumbed to his heroic battle with pancreatic cancer.
Swayze was probably best known for his roles as Johnny in “Dirty Dancing” and of course, the hottie ghost in “Ghost” with Demi Moore. Here’s what his management folks had to say:

Michael Jackson looked “fabulous” in his casket
LaToya Jackson, sister of the late (doesn’t that sound weird) Michael Jackson, says that he looked absolutely fantastic in his casket at the funeral.
Here’s what she had to say to Barbara Walters on 20/20 last week: his hair and makeup were done “beautifully”, and he was buried with one white glove and a pair of sunglasses, dressed all in white with a wide gold belt (like a prizefighter). Last night the funeral of Michael Jackson finally occurred, with a celebrity studded attendance including Elizabeth Taylor, Macauley Culkin, Al Sharpton, and many more.
Very sad. As the family took their seats, solo piano renditions of some of Michael’s most timeless songs were playing slowly and softly, it was a nice touch. It’s official: Michael Jackson was murdered!
For some reason this really hit me hard today. The Los Angeles coroner has officially ruled the death of Michael Jackson a homicide.
According to sources, the coroner’s toxicology report found lethal levels of propofol, a sedative used in surgeries. Dr. Conrad Murray is the one who gave him this fatal dose, and is now being pursued for manslaughter (wouldn’t it be murder? I don’t know how these things work). Ding dong, the King of Pop is dead. Michael Jackson died yesterday of an apparent drug overdose, possibly Demerol. Here’s the scoop from CNN:
An autopsy is scheduled on Friday to determine what killed Michael Jackson. Paramedics took Jackson, 50, from his Los Angeles home to UCLA Medical Center, where a team of physicians worked for more than an hour to try to resuscitate him, his brother Jermaine Jackson said. Mia Farrow’s brother found dead in Vermont art gallery – police say it looks “suspicious”
This is so sad! Mia Farrow’s brother, Patrick, was found dead in a Vermont art gallery, where he’s been sculpting for over 30 years. His wife and him had run the gallery, which sold mixed media art and jewelry stuff for about that long of time. Actor David Carradine found dead in Thailand
One of my favorite actors was sadly found dead by suicide today in a Bangkok hotel. David Carradine, known for his roles in “Kung Fu” and “Kill Bill”, apparently hung himself with a curtain rope – the people he was with just thought he was taking a rest because of his age (72). Bea Arthur, the sharp tongued comedian who had a LONG career in show biz, died this weekend at the ripe old age of 86.
