A reader named Kristin sent Crushable this photo she snapped of a maybe-too-old JoBros fan flaunting her love on Chicago’s El Train. As followers of Nick, Joe and Kevin know, Camp Rock was the 2008 made-for-TV movie also featuring Demi Lovato. It was less a masterpiece, more a starring vehicle for all things Jonai.

Says Kristin, “This girl must really love the Jo bros to be seen wearing a camp rock aka the poor mans high school musical backpack.”

Kristin also thinks she looked too old to be wearing Camp Rock merch.

Well, she might have a good excuse: She’s a nanny who was carrying around kid stuff; she’s a student and can’t afford a new backpack; she’s a diehard fan of cheesy Disney movies and isn’t afraid to show it.

I can get behind Reason Number Three: If there was a Saved By The Bell, California Dreams or Hey Dude! backpack out there, you can sure as hell bet I’d be sporting that merch on a regular rotating basis.

By the way, anyone out there know how I can get my hands on Saved By The Bell gear? Just FYI: I’m way more into Zack Morris than AC Slater, so no Mario Lopez imagery pleeeeeease.

What are Joe Jonas and Hilary Duff Doing Together?

Joe Jonas was hounded by the paparazzi earlier this week while leaving fellow Disney alum, Hilary Duff’s house in Toluca Lake, California. There have been rumors galore that the duo is getting back together but that’s not true it seems. Of course, his surprised expression made it seem like he was ‘caught in the act’ but that’s not really why he was there.

According to MTV, the two singers are writing music together. Will this be a project similar to his duet with BFF Demi Lovato? They’re getting together for a song called, Make a Wave. Demi commented, “I can’t wait to sing our new duet together!” Joe then jokingly added, “You mean our new hip hop duet?”

I’m looking forward to seeing what Hilary and Joe have in store. What are your thoughts as far as the type of song it’s going to be? Joe is not short of a sense of humor so maybe it will be something lighthearted and fun. Check out this video he did to Beyoncè’s Single Ladies. Hilarious!

Demi Lovato Looks Up to Hilary

Demi Lovato recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly for an interview. In the interview, as reported by MTV, Demi talks about making it big as a star, and trying to stay grounded.

Demi says that she wants to follow the path of fellow Disney star, Hilary Duff:

“[She] has stayed a really good role model. I mean, I’m sure she made mistakes, but you never saw them. I think it’s really cool that someone can grow up and continue to be looked up to by young girls.”

I think Hilary has been a great role model – for young Hollywood stars and for fans alike. It’s great.
