What should you do when you have a famous iconic movie that everyone has seen? Make it again with new people, obviously. Footloose came out in 1984. It had great success at the box office, but that isn’t stopping Hollywood from remaking it in the least necessary way. Taking apart the trailers from the soon-to-be-released 2011 version and the original 1984 version, we find that they are almost the exact same movie (but the new version has grinding! lots of grinding!) despite the attempt at modernization. Dennis Quaid and his wife were not told the twins were in danger
Methinks someone was trying to cover their ass here, don’t you?
Dennis Quaid said staff at the prestigious Cedars-Sinai Medical Center misled him while his newborn twins were being treated there, telling him the children were “fine” even as doctors scrambled to reverse a blood thinning medicine overdose.
Quaid told the Los Angeles Times in an interview published Tuesday that he called the hospital the night of Nov. 18 and was assured that his children with his wife, Kimberly, were “fine.”

Update: Dennis Quaid’s twins are recovering but not out of the woods yet
I told you yesterday about Dennis Quaid’s twins getting an overdose of Heparin; here’s the latest news:
The hospital apologized Tuesday to the families of three patients involved, but said it could not release the names because of confidentiality laws. It said tests indicated that there were no adverse effects on the patients.
In a statement, Quaid’s publicist, Cara Tripicchio, said, “Dennis and Kimberly appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers and hope they can maintain their privacy during this difficult time.”
