Featuring special appearances by Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jennifer Stone, Jake T. Austin, Allisyn Ashley Arm and Doug Brochu, the StarStruck Tour interstitials begin Friday, February 12 and provide facts about Hollywood landmarks including Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Sign, Kodak Theatre, Hollywood High School and Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The television premiere of “Bounce,” a hugely popular music video written and produced by Jonas Brothers and featuring them and Demi Lovato, will be presented Sunday during the “StarStruck” telecast (8:00-10:00 p.m.). The video was made available on Jonas Brothers’ YouTube channel in October and has been viewed by nearly 6.8 million people, consistently ranking in the daily top viewed around the world. The song spent nine weeks on Radio Disney’s Top 30, peaking at #2.

The eve of the school holiday and President’s Day programming event also includes two marathons of “Sonny With A Chance” (Sunday, 1:30-8:00 p.m. and Monday, 3:45-6:30 p.m.) and encore telecasts of the two popular DCOMs of last year: “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie” (Sunday, 10:00 a.m.) and “Princess Protection Program” (Sunday, 11:45 a.m.).

In “StarStruck,” an unaffected Midwestern girl who is visiting Los Angeles ends up on a love-struck adventure after she and a young Hollywood pop star meet, literally by accident. It seems that he has it all, but after spending time with her, he realizes he’s been missing out on something very important – being himself. After a day of touring the city, the pair develop a friendship, and now he must decide what’s more important, being true to himself or becoming a movie star.

Debby tweeted a picture of her and her co-stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau and Cainan Wiebe. We do not have a lot of details about the movie, but here is what Cainan has on his website.

“Cainan’s reunited with director Peter DeLuise (Beyond Sherwood Forest) for the filming of the Disney Channel Original Movie, 16 Wishes with Debby Ryan (Suite Life on Deck). Cainan plays, Mike, Abby’s (Debby Ryan) brother a cheeky, mischievous, endearingly annoying kid who has a somewhat fractious relationship with his sis.”

I can not wait to hear more about this movie! Because she’s been busy filming her new DCOM, she hasn’t been in Los Angeles filming season 3 of The Suite Life on Deck. She’ll be back soon though!

Sterling was brave enough to slide down the fire pole and when asked if he had a special someone to watch his movie with on Valentine’s day, he said he is “miserably single”. Awwww.

Sterling also sticks around to play the popular, “You People Don’t Know Nothin’” game with two audience members!

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato starred in the hit Disney Channel Original Movie, which did really well in the ratings. Fans are hoping for a PPP2, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

What teenager doesn’t dream of someday making a difference in the world? While one would assume that Princess Rosalinda (Demi Lovato) has a better chance of achieving that dream than regular Louisiana teenager Carter Mason (Selena Gomez), life is very unpredictable. Carter is a tomboy who lives with her dad, Major Mason (Tom Verica), and works in his bait shop. She’s a fairly typical teenager who’s crushing on a boy who barely knows she exists, and she has a strong aversion to her shallow and ultra-popular classmates Chelsea (Jamie Chung) and Brooke (Samantha Droke).

Carter’s dad works for the virtually unknown International Princess Protection Program and when he’s called away on an emergency mission, he returns with rescued Princess-in-distress Rosalinda Maria Montoya Fiore (Demi Lovato) whose ascension to the throne of small island country Costa Luna is in peril thanks to militant dictator General Magnus Kane (Johnny Ray). Clueless dad that he is, Major Mason has no idea of how upset Carter will be at the intrusion of a total stranger into her life or of how difficult it will be for “”Rosie”" to blend in and pretend she’s an average American teenager.

While Carter and Rosie take an immediate dislike to one another, they eventually realize that they are not so inherently different and they join forces against Chelsea and Brooke, becoming friends in the process. When Princess Rosalinda’s cover is blown, it’s Carter who engineers a dangerous plan that could make a huge difference in her friend’s future and the future of Costa Luna. A Disney Channel Original Movie about finding what one has to offer the world and then giving it freely, Princess Protection Program is a nicely crafted, entertaining, and inspirational film for tweens and young teens.
