It’s (almost) official; Kanye West’s mom Donda West died of heart disease:
Kanye West’s mother most likely died of heart disease coupled with complications after plastic surgery, but the exact cause of death can’t be known, coroner’s officials said Thursday.
Donda West, 58, died Nov. 10 at a Los Angeles-area hospital, a day after she had breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction procedures.

Condolences to Kanye West
This made me sad. Even though I think Kanye West is kind of a douche, it’s sad that his mom, Donda West, passed away during surgery this weekend:
Grammy winning rapper Kanye West’s mom Donda died from plastic surgery, a spokeswoman confirmed to the BBC.
Her publicist Patricia Green said she died “as the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure.”
No more details were given on her death, but West’s spokesman asked for privacy.
