]]> A new medical daytime talk show will be hitting the airwaves this fall.  Dr. Oz Dr. Ozwill be the first Oprah Winfrey-produced show to be filmed in Manhattan (at a yet-to-be-determined studio at NBC headquarters in Rockefeller Center). 

"We considered both Chicago and New York as a potential home for the ‘Dr. Oz’ show," Harpo spokeswoman Lisa Halliday said.

I think this is a good decision since Dr. Oz is on staff, as a heart surgeon, at New York Presbyterian Hospital.  

"Dr. Oz’s heart is in New York, from his career as a surgeon to raising his family," Halliday said.

It’s tough to move so I’m happy Dr. Oz will get to stay with his hospital and that his family won’t need to be separated/uprooted.  I like him a lot and I’m really excited to see what his show will have to offer!
