On Britney’s last night’s events and the second hospitalication, Phil said “If that starts [her] on the road to intervention,” he said, “then that is a good thing.”

Dr. Phil on Britney's Hospitalization

Sam Lutfi felt as if it was necessary to clarify some things and issued a statement saying “I witnessed Dr. Phil being incredibly influential in helping the family unite. … His meeting with Britney has certainly made a positive impact instilling seeds of encouragement and reality within her.”

Lufti added “In the near future it is likely that more information may be shared with the public with the hopes of better understanding a situation as serious as this.”

Sam Lutfi on Dr. Phil and Britney

“She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car.”

But did that really happen or was this a PR trick pulled by Phil to promote his show? According to TMZ, Phil is the “Worst Liar, Ever.”:

People on the 7th floor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center say the Doctor arrived at about 7:30 AM Saturday. We’re told Britney did not invite him in; she didn’t even know he was coming. Sources say it was Brit’s parents who told Dr. Phil to go to the hospital. When he walked into her room, we’re told, a blindsided Britney walked out — and eventually came back.

Sources say Phil tried speaking with Spears for about 15 minutes — not an hour as Dr. Phil’s press release states –but she wanted none of it. We’re told Phil was doing almost all the talking. As for walking with her to the car on her way out — again as his release states — we’re told, if he was walking behind her, that’s news to her. She absolutely was not accompanied by him.

According to the source, Phil convinced Britney’s parents to appears on his show aired this Wednesday (recorded Monday) and was on a “mission” to try and arrange for a televised intervention with Britney and the family, but “Based on the interaction between Dr. Phil and Britney this morning, it’ll be a cold day in hell before Britney goes on his show.” We’re told she absolutely will not appear on the program.

Is Dr. Phil a Lifesaver or a Liar?

Britney was sneaked out through an underground tunnel supposedly escorted by therapist Dr. Phil who visited her as she was getting ready to leave.

I guess the only question left to be asked was what really happen on Thursday night? Could it be Kevin who may have provoked the whole situation?
