I’m having an argument with Crushable’s deputy editor Amanda Ernst over Zoe Saldana’s polarizing Oscar dress: Amanda thinks it’s fugs, and I think it’s awesome.
Me: I am right and you are wrong. You clearly do not understand awesomeness when you see it. Zoe’s gown, designed by Givenchy, is stunning on multiple levels: the beaded bodice, the cascading violet-to-indigo train (which does NOT resemble purple kale). Hilary Duff showed her continued support for Max Azria yesterday by attending the Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring 2010 Collection show as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
If you recall, Hilary Duff hosted a Hervé Léger party earlier this year, so likely has a great relationship with the fashion house.

Hilary Duff Hosts Hervé Léger Party
Hilary Duff teamed up with iconic fashion house Hervé Léger to host a party on May 6th in homage to the “bandage dress”. The event was held at LIVE! on Sunset and celebrates the launch of the latest Hervé Léger by Max Azria Collection. Hilary herself wore one of the iconic bandage dresses in a gorgeous lime green:
