The show follows Dylan (Grabeel) – who is crazy about his beautiful neighbor Sara (Slade), and she likes him, too. But a nasty bat bite on a camping trip has changed Dylan in ways he never expected … he sprouts fangs and the smell of O Positive suddenly drives him wild. It’s true — Dylan is becoming a vampire! Terrified, he sings about his fear of becoming a monster who must kill to survive. Dylan doesn’t know what to do or how to tell Sara, and hiding it is getting harder and harder, especially since when she’s around, all he can think about is biting her delectable neck. His evasions frustrate a confused Sara, and since this is a musical they’re both driven to sing about their feelings.

Sexy vampire Trey (Seeley) revels in being one of the living dead, complete with a harem of dancing vampire groupies. Trey can’t stand Dylan’s misery so he decides to show the budding vamp how to take a bite out of his new life with style. His seductive song urges Dylan to spread his wings and taste the delights of all kinds of girls, really “go for the throat”. Dylan refuses and panics when Trey gets too close to Sara, but he can’t stop the vamp from mesmerizing her into going to a hot vampire party. Desperate to keep the girl he loves safe, Dylan goes along — but can he save Sara’s life? Or at least find a way to kiss her without draining her dry?

Disney Theatrical Productions is pleased to announce Drew Seeley, star of Another Cinderella Story will be playing Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid. Seeley will appear in the show Tuesday, June 9 though Sunday, August 30 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater (205 West 46th Street).

Drew made his Broadway debut in the High School Musical: The Concert as Troy. He began in the industry when he was 11, in the original Toronto company of Hal Prince’s 1993 revival of Showboat. He is an Emmy Award-nominated singer/songwriter who co-wrote the international smash hit song Get’cha Head in the Game!

The Little Mermaid takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. First, she will have to defy her father, the king of the sea, escape the clutches of an evil sea witch and convince a prince that she’s the girl with the perfect voice.

Tiffany Giardina headlined the Hannah’s Hope Fund Benefit Concert featuring Drew Seeley and friends this weekend!

Also performing at the event were Push Play, Savannah Outen, and Bre Morgan.

Hannah’s Hope Fund was started to help Hannah Sarah Sames, who was diagnosed with Giant Axonal Neuropathy (GAN), an incurable disease. Her parents started the fund in the hopes of working to find a cure and help others!

“It’s a lot of fun. It’s a really fun movie,” Drew says. He makes sure to emphasize that it is not the same movie as Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff.

When asked why he wanted to do this movie, Drew says “I love to act, sing and dance. So the project came along where I got the opportunity came to do all three at once! And even get to write.” He co-wrote a lot of music for the film and says it was a lot of fun.

He prepared for the film by dancing a lot with Selena. “We had a lot of rehearsals, like two weeks of intense rehearsals right before we started shooting,” Drew says. And as for the age difference between Drew and Selena, Drew says that it was never really an issue. “I just hope everybody enjoys seeing the movie as much as we enjoyed making it.”

Drew’s most memorable moment when filming Another Cinderella Story was, “a lot of my family lives in Vancouver so I had three of my little cousins and my aunt be extras in the movie!”

Drew is known as a triple-threat since he can sing, dance and act. But does he have a favorite of the three? “It kind of changes every day,” he says. “I started dancing before anything else when I was seven. Then did my first play in Showboat in Toronto when I was seven. Then the last thing that came was my singing. I love doing all of them.”

And what’s up next for Drew? Well he was actually in the recording studio, just finishing up five hours of working on a song, when he got on the call! He’s also starring in a thriller coming out this spring, The Shortcut. And he says he’d definitely be up for making a guest appearance on Wizards of Waverly Place. “Give me a call and we’ll make it happen!”

Another Cinderella Story brings the traditional fairy tale to present-day Beverly Hills, where Mary, a humble yet sweet servant girl, dreams of being a world-class dancer but her evil step-mother and step-sisters attempt to keep her off the dance floor. Joey Parker, pop’s Prince Charming, returns to town and Mary and Joey share an unexpected encounter at the school’s masked Black & White Ball. Mary flees the ball, leaving her MP3 player at the scene. Joey starts his search for his princess and Mary’s step-sisters attempt to sabotage her happily-ever-after!
