Video: PETA Wants to Put the Duggar Family On a Billboard
Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar not only have 19 kids, they have a show (TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting) about it. A PETA chapter based near the Duggars’ home in Arkansas has proposed a plan to put up a billboard using a reference to the Duggars to encourage people to spay and neuter their pets. The Duggar Family Is Taping an Episode at Focus on the Family
The Duggar family, who star in TLC’s series 19 Kids and Counting, keep a close hand on the editing of their show. Although they do talk abstractly about their religion, they steer clear of delving into specifics. They have long been accused of being part of the Quiverfull movement, an evangelical strain who believes in actively trying to have as many children as possible in order to create an army for Jesus. Though they’ve publicly denied their affiliation with Quiverfull, they have quietly (and off-camera) attended events associated with the movement. They’ve never attended church services on camera (possibly because their church is in their basement), but they have done things like take a trip to the Creationism Museum.
Now, fellow large-family-haver Chris Jeub (whose family appeared in an episode of TLC’s now-cancelled series Kids By the Dozen) has announced on his blog that the Duggars will be attending a Focus On the Family event this weekend in Colorado Springs, Colorado. More »
Poll: What Should Josh and Anna Duggar Name Their New Baby?
Josh Duggar, oldest son of the 19 Kids and Counting Duggar family, and his wife Anna Duggar recently announced that they’re expecting their second child. The baby’s sex has not been announced yet, but Josh and Anna have said that they plan to keep with the family tradition of having all the kids’ names start with the same letter. The Duggar Family is expecting their 18th child
Happy Mother’s Day, indeed. The always expanding Duggar Family is now expecting their 18th child. Right now, she’s about six weeks along and everything seems to be going well; the last baby they had is only 9 months old. So, obviously, in their highly regimented home of automatons, there is a block of time scheduled for “getting bizzay.”

The Duggar family welcomes their 17th child
UPDATE: The Duggars are expecting their 18th child.
An Arkansas couple had a baby daughter Thursday — their 17th child and seventh girl — and the pair say they’re still not ready to give it a rest.
Jennifer Danielle was born at 10:01 a.m. at a hospital in Rogers, Arkansas, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar said in an interview.
“We’d love to have more,” Michelle said, referring to baby girls. “We love the ruffles and lace.”
