On the Set of High School Musical 3
Access Hollywood was recently on the set of High School Musical 3: Senior Year and interviewed Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, and Zac Efron. Zac talks about it being his last time in East High gym and the last time he’ll be putting on the jersey.

High School Musical 3 Filming Begins
Filming started this weekend on High School Musical 3 and some tidbits have filtered through!
~ Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu, Ryne Sanborn and Chris Warren shot some classroom scenes. No outside filming has been done yet.
~ Ashley Tisdale seems to be having some issues with something and is only speaking to Vanessa Hudgens.
~ Cast members are being heavily guarded – at least three security personnel per member!
~ A fangirl was escorted offset by security on Saturday.

Vanessa Hudgens Talks About Her Nude Photos
GQ Magazine’s May 2008 has an interview with Vanessa Hudgens wherein she talks about her popularity and the nude photo scandal from last summer:
“If you have paparazzi, you know you’ve gotten somewhere,” the 19-year-old High School Musical star says.
When asked about her nude photo scandal, Vanessa shrugs it off, sayin, “Honestly, you have your ups and downs. But it’s over with and it’s done.”

Zac Efron is supposedly still in England on “Me and Orson Welles” but of course is expected in Utah soon where pretty much everyone else from the cast is already rehearsing!
High School Musical 3 is being filmed during the actual East High’s school year, unlike the previous two movies which were filmed during summer break. Because of this, filming is scheduled to take place before and after school hours… More »
High School Musical 3 Update
The start of filming for High School Musical 3 has been moved from January to April 21. The actual East High in Salt Lake County, Utah, will once again be the location for the movie, and filming will run until approximately June 13.
The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release later this year.
While Disney officials decline to comment, East High School Principal Paul Sagers reveals that he and Salt Lake City School District officials have been meeting with Disney… More »
High School Musical 3 Script Finished
The script for High School Musical 3 is completed and a tentative release date of October 2008 has been rumored!
“Fortunately, Peter was able to get into us before the strike,” director Kenny Ortega told TV Guide at Sunday’s Diversity Awards. “Now we’re developing our music. It’s exciting. We’re looking forward to beginning in ‘08,” with an eye on an October theatrical release.
