I Wish I Went to Trinity College Because Conan the Barbarian Teaches There
Other reasons I wish I went to Trinity College include that it is in Dublin, and I dig Ireland; but honestly, the idea of taking a class from Conan the Barbarian is SO MUCH COOLER than the idea of Ireland (sorry, Ireland), so right now, that’s my primary reason for wishing I went there. Poll: Would You Fire Someone Over A Bumper Sticker?
And today in education news: A teacher in Arizona was fired over a bumper sticker. Tarah Ausburn’s car sports a sticker that reads “HAVE YOU DRUGGED YOUR KID TODAY?” After some parents complained, school officials gave Ausburn an ultimatum: remove the offending sticker, or else. More »
Hilary Duff on Fire Safety
Hilary Duff recently had a cameo in a movie about fire safety that is being developed for the US Department of Education. The movie will teach kids in grade 1 – 5 about fire safety and will be distributed all across the US. Hilary Duff joins other celebrities to help teach kids about the importance of fire safety.
