Thanks to the Look 4 Less blog for pointing out this great find!
I love the Elizabeth and James Draped Tank. It’s soft and girlie but still subtle. It’s available for $165 from Saks Fifth Avenue.
If that’s a steep price for a tank top, you’re in luck! h.i.p. has a great lookalike!
You can order the h.i.p. tank at Nordstrom for $28.00…. More »
I’ve been looking for a great all-purpose fall boot and love the Steel Boot by Elizabeth and James. The lush leather and sleek zipper detail make them timeless yet modern and cool.
They’re currently available to pre-order from Nordstrom for $395.
If you love the look but not the price, Urban Outfitters has a decent option. Their Exposed Zip Boot has a silver zipper running up the entire side and the boot is black, not deep brown. But for $88.00, it’s a… More »
Elizabeth and James just unveiled their line of neon basics and I love them! From the one shoulder tee to the crisscross tank, I want them all!
Most of the pieces are available in a more neutral palette, for those who shy away from hot pink and blood orange. Take their basic one shoulder dress, for example. It’s also available in basic black.
You can get your own for $150.00 from ShopBop.
If your budget for basics doesn’t allow that kind of pricing,… More »
Elizabeth and James jewelry is truly goth inspired. I love the small details it has, like the snakes and daggers. I especially love this Dagger Necklace from ChickDowntown. It gives your look an edgy vibe, but is still appropriate for an evening out or a day at the office.
At $525, it may take a large slice out of your wallet!
If you like the look but not the price, Urban Outfitters has a great option for less! Their Dagger Necklace has… More »
I’ve been longing for the Elizabeth and James Artist Shirt ever since I saw it on the eshelves at Bloomingdales. It’s so comfortable and soft, doesn’t it? It’s the perfect piece for a casual weekend.
What isn’t all that comfortable, however, is the price. It’ll take a big bite out for your wallet at $225.
The Gap’s Boyfriend Oxford Shirt is a great look for less choice. Ithas only one pocket and comes equipped with clasps to roll the sleeves up, but… More »
Colored blazers are going to be big for fall! The 80s are back baby, and so are the bold in-your-face hues that come with them. I’ve been eyeing the red version of the Elizabeth & James James blazer for quite some time. It would look great with skinny black jeans or leggings and giant heels. I can see Rihanna rocking this with some out-there accessories.
Rihanna’s also got the cash flow to purchase this puppy. It’s available for $395.00 from ShopBop.

The second I saw the Elizabeth and James Ruched Flat Bootie, I instantly fell in love. I love the lush fabric and ruching detail across the top. I’m on the lookout for a short boot and this might fit the bill.
The boot is available from Bergdorf Goodman for $350.00,in grey and taupe.
If you like the look, but not the price, Urban Outfitters has a great alternative with their Kimchi Blue Suede Pleated Bootie. The fabric is a bit rougher, there’s… More »
I love this soft and slouchy sweatshirt dress from Elizabeth and James. It would look great with giant boots or with leggings and flats or with pretty much anything!
What doesn’t look good, though, is the price. Even on sale at $177 at Madison, it’s still a bit out of my price range.
Delia’s has a great sweatshirt dress alternative with their Kathleen Dress.
The look is more pulled together – look at the neckline! – and the color is more gray… More »
The Elizabeth and James Peace Charm Bracelet is a hip way to make a statement. One statement you might not want it to make, however, is on your wallet. The original is still pricey, even when it’s on sale at ShopBop for $262.50.
If you want to make a similar statement at less than 1/10th the price, then Sabrina Silver has a great option. Her sterling silver peace charm bracelet is available through Amazon for only $20.79.
There’s not photo of the… More »
One of my favorite pieces in the Elizabeth and James Fall 2009 collection is this cropped fur vest! It gives fur a great youthful downtown vibe – I can totally see The City girls rocking this vest with skinnies and heels while they run around in New York City.
What I don’t love, however, is the hefty $795 price tag. It’s not yet available in stores, but can be pre-ordered online for the fall season from Intermix.
YesStyle has a similar… More »
I love the Elizabeth and James Chain Fringe Necklace! It looks like a metallic waterfall cascading from your neck! I can see it dressing up a simple v-neck white t or adding glam to a cute party frock!
What isn’t pretty about this necklace is the price. At $695 from S | Sense, it would put a giant dent in your wallet!
If you’re looking for something similar at a lower price point, I’ve got two great options for you!

I know I’ve been doing a lot of these posts lately, but I’m trying to make up for the slow Olsen news!
I love this flirty Bell skirt from the Elizabeth and James Spring 2009 collection. It’s perfect for the summer!
However, it’s still a bit pricey for my wallet. Even on sale for $150, as it is at Ivy Blue, it’s too high for me.
Luckily, Forever 21 has a very similar skirt. Their Rose Garden Skirt has the same… More »
I love the luxurious ease of the Elizabeth and James Oasis jumpsuit. It’s certainly a look that’s not for everyone, but on the right person, it would be a headturner!
Unfortunately, it’s pretty pricey at $425 through ShopBop.
Luckily, Free People has a jumpsuit that’s very similar! It has the same halter top and wide leg bottom. It’s a bit sexier in the front and back than the Elizabeth and James one, as the v-neck is quite deep and the back is… More »
One of the reasons I like Elizabeth and James so much is how nicely it mixes masculine and feminine elements. I’ve been a huge fan f the boyfriend blazer and love MK and Ashley’s take on it with the James Blazer. This linen jacket’s one button detail and peak lapel make it sexy, comfortable and cool.
It’s available through Bloomingdale’s for $395.00.
A cheaper alternative is the Cheap Monday Oversized Linen Jacket from Urban Outfitters. It’s also made of linen and also… More »
