Elizabeth & James Mark-Up Mishap
According to the fashion blog the Racked, there was recently an Elizabeth & James sale at Savvy – or so consumers thought. Apparently, the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen-designed line would then get marked up at the cash register.
The reason? Lower prices hurt the brands reputation.
