The photos show a fully clothed Justin and Kim frolicking in the waves hand in hand. And is that a nipple next to Justin’s head? Yowza. Can’t wait to see that photo spread in Elle. (On another note: A source who was on the shoot tells us Justin was “throwing fruit” at people in his hotel room. No word on whether Kim was a target.)

It’s almost comical at this point: Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart keep hedging back and forth about whether or not they’re dating to the press, and act really offended whenever they’re backed into a corner to address the issue. We totally get keeping an air of mystery about their relationship, as to make sure that the kids who see their movies have their beliefs un-dis-suspended, but come on. This is also the audience that keeps you working guys, so getting huffy about the one question your fans want answered is insulting to the very same people who pay your bills.

That’s probably why, after giving a kind of bitchy interview to Elle when they asked her about dating R-Patz, Stewart later lamented at the Times 100 gala that people think she doesn’t care, when in fact she doesn’t “know anybody who does this that gives a sh*t more than I do.”

Real: Having to put together a fashion show in a week. That kind of craziness could actually happen
Fake: Kelly and Whitney sitting around in the empty tent after the show. Chances are, this scene was filmed before the show craziness. Afterwards, Whitney would undoubtedly be inundated by well-wishers, press and everyone else who swarms backstage at fashion shows (they showed it earlier in the show with Olivia at Anna Sui). There’s no time for quiet or taking in the moment.

Real: Fighting with a co-worker. Hey, if Olivia was one of our coworkers we would probably want to kill her, too.
Fake: Giving your boss an ultimatum — especially when your boss is Joe Zee. Erin has worked for Elle for a long time, so she knows better than to give someone like Joe a “its her or me” ultimatum. In a real work situation that sort of shit would never go down, and Joe and Robbie would never have handled it in such a calm manner. Erin would have been shown the door.

Real: Olivia gets to interview designers backstage. It’s a perfect assignment for Olivia to gain access to people she already has access to, and her interview was actually surprisingly good, although she did manage to squeeze in a reference to the fact that she attended the CFDA awards this year (a very hard ticket to snag).
Fake: Olivia as “magazine editor.” Joe’s face when Olivia declared herself a magazine editor was priceless. Although we wonder why he acted so surprised since he did hire her as an “accessories editor” last year.

They report that Lindsay Lohan was late to arrive and had many delays during the shoot (all of which seems true, though the gossip makes it seem harsh). Upi cam see the end result of the shoot in the below behind-the-scenes video:

In the interview with Elle, Lindsay Lohan talks about how lonely she is living the life of a celebrity. She often has no friends around her – just paid assistants – and flocks to crowds to appease her loneliness. Lindsay shares that she takes her notebook with her to vent – and release – her emotions when she needs to. Speaking of emotions, the article details a tearful confrontation between Lindsay & Sam at Bungalow 8. All of this is detailed in the magazine because the interview never took place – in the end, only a few questions were answered by email. The best part of the article is this:

“Lindsay Lohan is a contradiction. Most of the time, Lindsay is impossible to pin down. But in the moments you are together, you will see her strip down to her soul, exposing herself so completely that you are left in no doubt as to the type and intensity of every feeling running through her.

It is when she is asked the most direct questions that she is most elusive. She cannot be constant because she is ruled by the moment. It is frustrating. It is exhausting. But it is real.”

And, in the end, isn’t it this rawness what appeals to everyone about Lindsay?

Lindsay Lohan for Elle Magazine – Behind-the-Scenes

This photoshoot, which took place in June, is the one associated with the jewelry theft scandal in London. Lindsay was never responsible for that theft, but it definitely gave the shoot some early press!!

A spokesperson for the magazine says that police are investigating allegations that jewelry was stolen from the shoot. However, they are not pointing the finger at Lindsay Lohan. They are saying they have no reason to believe that Lindsay is in any way linked to the theft.

Lindsay Lohan’s rep says:

“We inquired and everyone from the shoot is being questioned. Hair, make up, stylist … even photographers. Lindsay hopes they find the jewels. She is happy to cooperate.”

London’s Metropolitan police say that a necklace and earrings worth over $400k was found to be missing. People reports that the jewelry was from Dior.

We do know that Lindsay had a photo shoot in London soon after she’d arrived there from Paris. That shoot was reportedly for Elle magazine.

According to the story, Lindsay is being accused of walking away from the shoot with the jewelry she wore on set. The story says that this is “common” for Lindsay, and that Louis Vuitton reportedly refuses to work with Lindsay for this continued issue.

So far, Lindsay has not publicly responded to the accusations – on her blog, twitter or via her publicity team.
