When news broke last week that Hilary Duff’s hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie had asked him to marry her, we admit we were a little skeptical about the fact that a paparazzo snapped it all on film. But here’s the photo evidence: caught by yet another pap. We don’t want to get all Bride Wars, but Hill’s ring is enormous — possibly even bigger than Carrie’s. And she looked pretty happy, too, as she was snapped last night leaving Katsuya with Mike and another girl.

The paparazzi caught up with Samantha Ronson as she was leaving Chateau Marmont last night on her way to Bar Marmont for a DJ gig. The paparazzi were quick to ask Sam about the engagement rumors…

Although Sam was pretty mute, she does say that “Nope”, it’s not true. When the paparazzi pushed to ask Samantha if she got Lindsay the ring Lindsay was seen wearing, Sam says “no.” When asked if Lindsay was just having fun with the media, Sam says “I don’t really know.”

Lindsay Lohan may have arrived to her meeting at the sushi restaurant wearing one outfit, but she was reportedly seen leaving wearing something completely different. Replacing the white scoop neck top with something black and lacy, Lindsay looks to be ready for a night out on the town!! But, there’s something bigger to notice, and that’s the two rings on Lindsay’s ring finger – one looks like an engagement ring, while the other is a simple band…

The DailyMail has snagged some photos of Lindsay & Samantha together leaving Heathrow. Lindsay then tweeted:

“Leaving London but with my favorite favorite!!!-travel buddy&great news to share!! Maybe…. ;)”

So, is this great news an engagement??

Lindsay Lohan’s PR rep tells People.com that the rumors of an engagement are not true.

Although Lindsay may be wearing rings on her ring finger, her rep says that Lindsay is not engaged. The latest ring she wore to the Stand Up for a Cure event was a heart-shaped antique ring she found at an antique store in NYC, her rep says.

It was a very pretty ring, but not one I’d think of as an engagement ring. Good taste in rings though, Lindsay! And nice to have some clarification on the rumor.
